If you just want the grade, go for this teacher...if you actually want to learn something, DO NOT TAKE calcIII with him...he does look like Santa and his quizzes and tests are like presents, but honestly I didn't learn a thing in his class and I'm disappointed...very disappointed. He makes me hate math. >.<

He really tries, but fails. Easily the most confusing lecturer ever, since he makes arithmetic errors constantly and when he doesn't do that, he confuses himself. A real nice guy, though. The book is useable, but not great.

Santa is an ok teacher. Lectures are from the book, and he will go over one or two examples per day. Usually he will make some arithmetic error somewhere, and the entire example will be wrong. Homework is easy, he assigns maybe a dozen problems per day, but hw is only collected when he tells you and he gives you a week notice.

His teaching style consisted of working examples from the book, which would be fine if he did not consistently mess up the examples.

His exams are exact replicas of his study guides, and lectures are somewhat helpful if you have specific questions and want to know how to do a certain problem. You're basically guaranteed and A in this class if you study the night before for exams. But Robinson is one of the NICEST profs at Case, and if nothing else will make you laugh. :-)

Easy professor, will ensure that you can skip this class at least two-thirds of the time. Quizzes ever once in a while on Friday, tests whenever he gets around to them, and one night of studying is all you need.

Sadly, Santa Robinson seems to be mentally decomposing. He has a Parkinson's shake and sometimes forgets what chapter we are studying. The tests are almost clones of study guides and class is optional. If you care about learning material, go elsewhere, but this guy will get you the grade.

Wow, taking linear algebra with Santa was a good idea. I never did homework, rarely took notes, and still averaged mid-90's on the tests, which I crammed for right before taking. Amazing...

Taking 122 with him was the most painful experience of my life. In 224, it was much better. He's a _nice_ guy, but his handwriting is awful and his lecturer are lightning fast problem walkthroughs with little explanation. Prepare to learn from book. But hey, I've grown to love the guy....

I didn't really gain much of anything from this class. He doesn't teach well, has horrible handwriting, and can't really get any points across clearly. I learned everything from the book.
