In my opinion, she was a great professor. Clear understanding and knowledge of what she was doing. I'm not one to ask questions really, so if you are, I can't help. But the tests were super easy. And she gives great reviews. Overall, one of my favorite professors. But don't seem uninterested, because towards the end she started giving pop quizzes!

I saw the good comments so I took her. But I didn't see that the last comment was from over two years prior. DO. NOT. TAKE. HER. rude, sarcastic, not willing to help, irrelevant discussion, and one of the hardest graders ever. Also flat out annoying.

Prof. Beebe is an excellent teacher. She is really interested in what she is teaching and makes it fun for students to learn. Her tests are right out of the class lectures. The only thing that is difficult are the essay tests!

By far the worst teacher i had this semester, she is a tough grader, the only class i did horrible in. she is very un helpful. she requires alot of reading, talks about things that are irrelavent. i wouldnt reccomend her to anyone! i studied hard for this course and still only made it withh a D i only missed class twice

Great professor. Quite a bit of reading, but the class discussions cover everything that will be on the exams. Just go to class and take good notes, you'll do fine. Essay exam questions are graded on a difficult scale, but they are also provided a week in advance for preparation. Just put in the work and you won't have any problems.

i hate english and susan was a very good teacher!! i usually do poorly and i got a B in her class! she does NOT take attendance but you should go or else you wont kn ow whats going on AND you have to read the boooks to understand her lessons!

Pretty interesting class. Read the stories/poems and go to class. Should be an easy A. Professor is helpful and engaging. Multiple choice exams are straight forward from reviews. Essays are graded a bit tough, but everyone should be able to get a C or above.

Go to class!! Can't imagine passing the class if you don't. Mult. choice exams are easy if you do. Essays are a challenge but if you do well on the mult.choice can still get an A. Good professor. She hosts a study session for the first 2 exams.

She is very thorough in her lectures, so write it ALL! She doesn't post/handout notes, so you really need to go to every class. Essay exams are open book, so you can write whatever you want in the margins to help with papers. There are four multiple choice and two essay exams. She is a cute little old lady who knows her stuff!
