I can see how people would think she is hard but could have been alot worse. The majority of the Meta SQL code was generated by ERwin, some professors require to do this by hand. She does expect alot from the projects but they were not as bad as people make them out to be, and she makes up for it with a SICK curve on her exams which is very helpful! Take good notes.....

Boring proffessor. If you wanna pass her class, go to her office hours and ask her questions about the project. She never answer questions regarding the projects in class. Her tests are not that difficult, but the projects are super hard.

Take this professor if you already know what you're doing and you like being browbeaten. Refuses to answer questions and treats students like dogs. I didn't learn anything in her class, I had to ask other students for help. Miserable person, needs counseling and possibly Prozac.

Fairness in grading? WTF? She grades you based on HER preferences. If you did an SQL statement that showed you read the book, but she didn't teach it in class, she will take off points even though the answer is right. She takes off points for trivial stuff that won't matter in the REAL world.

Dr.Wilkins is very intelligent and knowledgeable. You'll come out of her class feeling confident about sql. She's also very friendly and will help you either in person or via e-mail. Her tests are easy if you study what she asks. don't be fooled by others

As someone stated, you take her to learn. Expect her to be tough, but fair. She listened to us when four out of five of the team mates came to her about the fifth not working. Flunked the guy. Good on ya!

OMG, she is HARD. This is a hard subject, and she does teach it well. Better than anyone else in department. Just be warned that she can be a mean, mean, mean person (to say it nicely). She can and will fail you. Even if it were you last chance to pass
