I took this online, she makes the online course seem not-so-online like. Great professor. But the tests are hard. And the class is pretty fast pace, and since it's online you have to know when certain things are due, because there won't be a reminder unless you make one.

to people who said that you dont learn much, it depend on you. I learn more with her than other teachers, with other teachers, U have to take notes+study for materials that they want you to know. With Sue,I chose to learn whatever I want, and i'm also a think outside of the box guy, I can see her points of view while many think its a waste of time

Would have enjoyed the class much more if she taught less to powerpoint and more to her personal interests. I enjoyed the class discussions, the final "panel debates" were fun, but little organization. Class attendance required, but sporadic at best regardless. Open to discussion.

I completely agree. So so so easy but so so so worthless. If you are looking for an absolutely cake 4.0, look no further. If you are looking to learn, then go somewhere else. She drops half the assignments because she thinks it's too much busy work. We only go to class 3/5 days. So dumb.

Well the class is easy but she is not an amazing teacher. I can honestly say I learned nothing. It was a pretty boring class and the only reason any of us went was because so many kids weren't that it became mandatory. The class could not have been easier but it's not fun or interesting.

Sue's an amazing advocate for students and real learning experiences. She's probably also the only professor who has you take naps in class -- she's that mindful of students' well-being. Most of her classes are portfolio based, so save everything, give the topic an honest exploration, and you'll do amazing.

EASY! Come to class. Final is a notebook of all your work from quarter. SAVE EVERYTHING! Not tests... kinda some "pop quizes" on readings... no worries though. Lots of group discussions. Have a book group... each group is in charge of reading a different book and then relating it to sociology.
