He is a brilliant person that knows his subject matter. Now here comes the big buts. He is difficult to understand, his tests are made to be way too long than is practical. He is frequently late. I Aced his classes only because the I took advanced classes in high school and his was review of them. If math is not super easy skip him.

He is very knowledgeable, unfortunately it is sometimes difficult to understand him. If you pay attention in his class and participate you can expect a lot more help out of him and a better grade. If you want to blow off the class and sleep/not show up, he is not a good teacher to take.

Datta has earned a reputation on campus as being the teacher to take if you want to get a decent grade without learning anything / doing any work. After taking 2 classes with him, I feel that reputation is accurate. He shows up late, every single day. Let me reiterate that... he shows up 5+ minutes late EVERY DAY. Take him if you hate math.

Horrible professor, his lectures are boring and impossible to follow, his quizes and tests and difficult and cover material never touched in class or in the book. The final was a 100-point take-home exams on material chapters ahead of anything we covered. The only reason I didn't fail is because nobody passed that class and got curved.

It was too hard to understand what he was saying through his accent, he wrote in chalk from right to left, and he erased/re-wrote the same plus sign about five times in each problem. That is all I learned from that class. His tests were difficult because it was impossible to learn from the lectures.

Professor shows up 5 minutes late everyday and then keeps us late. Gets mad when students don't participate, but doesn't seem to understand it's because no one knows what's going on. Quizzes and tests are far too long, the entire class doesn't finish. Completely unwilling to listen to the students' problems or needs. Worst professor I've ever had.

I can't stay awake or care about anything in this class. He lectures and doesn't show how to do anything. He gets angry when the class doesn't participate, but he makes students feel like idiots if they do participate. He randomly doesn't show up for class, he's hard to understand... Worst professor I've ever had.

Wow, most difficult professor to understand. Not at all a good teacher. Genius when it comes to propability, but he has a hard time making it clear for his students to understand.

His teaching skills are unbelievabley terrible. He lectures a math class instead of showing how to do it. If you take his class you will be teaching yourself 95% of it. If you go to him for him, he basically turns you away. He is unhelpful and doesn't care about the students. He knows what he is talking about but can not teach.

It's people like him that cause students to drink. His teaching method is one of the worst I've seen. Sure he knows his stuff, but his notes are too cluttered to copy and follow. There is just too much communication noise allowing him to get the info through. He uses previously used overhead sheets that have more crap on them than the books doe

I went to his office to talk to him about the apitutide test and he didn't care what I had to say turned around while I was talking and didn't care what I had to say. He's not caring proffessor who wants people to succed he said just take someone esle.

Sujay is a wonderful teacher, always willing to help outisde of class, very polite and understanding but expects respect back from students. Ask questions, he will explain, do not say hes a bad teacher because you sit on your lap top the whole time and dont listen to the lecture.

The subject matter is quite difficult, and I have not seen it before, but so far I like the 'unexplained' answers I'm allowed to give on the quizzes. I don't have any problem understanding his words, and I think if you paid attention in class and do the homework, you should be fine
