I got an A- in thise class. I didn't think she was so bad as everyone is saying. You have to pay attention and if you try in class I'd like to think she takes that into consideration. OH NO! I was put into this class after I asked to switch out of a 3 hour night class. I probably should have gone with the night class. She gets mad if no one answers her questions. It's pretty hard when we have no idea what she's asking. Your grade is based on only 3 tests which could really mess up your grade.

She is personally, TERRIBLE! RUN FROM HER, as if she was the wicked witch from the west. I can't understand a single word she says. She doesnt go along with the book, and has problems with the size of the class. She is a little woman, who hates people who are only a few minutes late. I DREAD HER CLASS EVERY MWF . . . IT GIVES ME NIGHTMARES . .

you must be retarded not to get an A in this class. Its beyond easy, all you need is 88 average on tests to get an A. and her tests were all 30-35 question multiple choice. She also drops the lowest test grade. If you just pay attention in class she gives you all the damn answers to the tests.... beyond easy. Must take !

Egh! Stay away from her if you don't like going to class everyday. She trips off of every absence and even threatened to drop me even though I did great in her class. She also trips off of absences and has a strong accent. The like 4 tests she gives are easy as long as you pay attention and can understand her. Very little reading necessary though

I do not think she is a bad teacher, its a challenging class, but its not hard if you try. Make sure you keep up with the chapters that need to be read, show up to class on time, and you shouldnt have a problem.

I took her for both 1001 and 1002 and I love her...Now don't get me wrong I am a lazy student... I hate having to study alot and doing work...all were not a problem in this class. Prof Shah is an excellent teacher. Her notes are relevant to the textbook and expects the students to apply the notes and think of real-life situations and examples. Read the textbook and review the notes and get the online PowerPoint Slides and you’ll do fine. Easy A for both ECO 1001 and 1002; Macroeconomic and Microeconomics.

There is nothing wrong with her accent, if you actually listened to her carefully you'd understand what she teaches. A very nice lady. However, too fast-paced and expects you to understand economics. Hard.
