I really enjoyed Communications class with Ms. Durso. She was knowledgeable and fun. She had great stories to tell about the media, "Best Boy" and "Key Grip" LOL! Seriously, very helpful and caring Professor.

I loved this class. Okay, so you have to do your homework. It's EXTRA CREDIT! She teaches and then helps out with the her students. She has insider information that works! She's blunt, but it's all in good jest and intention. Don't blow your exams though- half is in the book and the other is in the notes. You MUST show up to class!

Take her! She is a very good professor that tells you like it is. She wants you to do well. You have long, but easy homework assignments and if you do them well you get a point towards your final grade. She is very fair and really knows her stuff. You submit your homework online. DO IT ON TIME! You do not get the point if it's not on time.

Best professor at SJU!!! She is smart, charming, and you learn EVERY class!! She is my favorite teacher of all time, and is a class act. Just do the HW, which is simple and show up to class, and you will have a great grade, and you will def learn!

prof durso is such a sweet woman and i loved her class! even though you have to go to class, definitely take notes,and study to do well..i loved it. i looked foward to her class and she makes you work for your grade but at the same time you are learning alot. i wish i could take her class over again. LOVE HERR!

Every time I look at her I smile. I dodged other professors, just to have her class. All I can say is the grade you get for this class is based on the amount of effort you put into the homework and studying for tests. She's awesome. I love you Durso!

After 12 years I still have a bitter taste in my mouth over this professor. I work harder and did better work than I had ever did in an class just to to have her give me a D for no reason at all. A lot of recent students seem to like her now. Maybe she finally got over herself and learned to be less favorable to certain students and more impartial.

Wonderful professor. Cares a lot about her students and geniunely wants them to succeed. Assigns hw after each major chapter and gives a test for each chapter as well..you will learn a lot..good use of St. John's tuition!

This is my second class with Durso, not because she is easy, but because you learn so much from her it makes other CAS classes so easy. You def. need to work for an A, but it is not impossible. Just study for the tests and you're golden, otherwise this probably isn't for you.

This was a great class. I wish Durso taught more classes, but you do have to work for that A, which means doing what she says, studying for those tests and handing homework in on time. But she is one of the smartest and nicest professors I have ever met. Definitely take her.

Very nice teacher, although not the easiest at all. You will have to study, study, study in order to do good, but she is very clear with what has to be done, and is very nice and understanding. As long as you don't pull any**** with her, she will be one of the best teachers you will ever have. Would recommend, but def. prepare to study.

Prepare to study a lot! I just could not pull off an A, but I loved every minute of her. I learned so much in this class and she is one of the nicest professors you will ever come across. You've done nothing at SJU until you've been in a Durso class!
