Dr. Mayor is awesome. She is ridiculously knowledgeable, willing to help, and cares about her students. Her assignments were easy thanks to her making them easy. She is flexible and you can redo assignments. Her feedback is useful. The articles are REALLY useful. I liked her laid back, but "do what you're supposed to do" attitude. Loved her!

This teacher often focuses on the negatives and make you doubt your abilities. She is also unclear with due dates and then gets annoyed when you ask questions to clarify. I would not recommend.

Don't take her unless you want to have a headache everyday. She's nice enough but she can be annoying. She doesn't put up any grades and told us that we had a final one week before we were having it. It's not even on the syllabus. Try and avoid her!

Dr. Mayor gets a bad rep. She's actually a really nice professor. The class isn't hard its mostly just busy work. Her biggest flaw is that she doesn't follow her syllabus with all assignments which can get frustrating. She really cares about you and she obviously loves teaching the class. I would recommend her.

Get use to hearing "this isn't what I'm looking for" because projects and papers have no rubric or written instruction, requirements are said quickly at the end of class and assignment due dates have changed by a month's worth on a one day notice. Very difficult to keep track of and very frustrating.

Sunita was an awesome teacher. You can tell how much she truly cares about this subject shes teaching and that she wants everyone to use it in the future. A paper due every week almost but its college what do you expect? They're not hard at all, more like summaries. She's an awesome teacher if you do your work and what she asks. Def take her!

She comes off as a rough person but give it time and she eases up. I had her for a winter class, so it was a lot shorter, but she will was unclear about due dates. Overall tho she cares and will help you pass.

She's really really unclear with all of her assignments and due dates. Her lectures are really long and boring and you lose points for skipping class. It's really stressful to keep up with the work because you don't know what's going on.

People have flat out asked her a question to clarify her crazy guidelines, she looked at them, then continued on like nothing happened. Very unclear about what is expected of you and very disorganized.

Although se seemed tough at first she really enjoys what she is teaching and towards the 2nd or 3rd week gets more friendly. She is a sweetheart and genuinely cares about her students and their future as educators. She is unclear due dates at first but she is very flexable with the syllabus. She loves what she is doing!

Though a bit intimidating at first, she was one of the best teachers I have ever had. There is a lot of work involved, so be prepared for that. However this is not the usual busy work that I typically get. I really feel prepared to teach students about writing and I am actually excited to apply this knowledge! I really enjoyed this class.

She knows what she's talking about!! She got me genuinely excited about teaching writing, and I feel prepared to. The work is simple. Yes, you take a lot of notes; but at least those notes are valuable and applicable, which is more than I can say for other courses I've taken where the teacher's main goal seems to be to entertain.

Even though this class had a lot of work to it, I learned a lot. Prof. Mayor was a little unclear on when things were due but if you stayed on top of her, you will be fine. I would take her again. I loved the way she taught. I got a lot out of the class.
