Comment:

Took her for EDR304 and did really well. She is a very easy grader as long as you do what she asks. She is super friendly and always more than happy to help you with the assignments she gives. Attendance is mandatory but she cancels class often. I would for sure take her again!

Does care about students. Sits in her seat all class and reads from powerpoints. Calls out sick often. If you don't show up you wont pass even with doctors notes or any circumstance. Would not recommend.

Professor Caroff's lectures are difficult because she sits in one place the whole time and reads right off of her slides. She assigns a lot of reading but it correlates with the slides. There are lots of grades that go into the class. However, she is a very nice woman and seems to really care about her students and her subject.

I seriously hated this class and she was not helpful AT ALL. All she does is sit there and we do busy work the entire class. She reads straight off her powerpoints and every week you have at least 1 "quiz" that is actually a test because it's worth 50 points! But, you grade it yourselves because she doesn't feel like it. This class was such a waste

Dr. Caroff seems quiet caring. However, she is not engaging. Her lectures do not tie back to our exams in an effective manner. Great class if you learn best on your own through personal study. Do not take this class if you are looking for the professor to aid in learning the information.

Absolutely did not like her or this class!! There are 50 point "quizzes" at least once a week. The quizzes are so hard and I feel like I'm studying for tests not quizzes. I would NOT ever take her again. She is so boring and reads the powerpoints straight off the slides but goes so fast you can't take notes. AVOID HER!

Professor Caroff seems to be a nice woman but has no idea how to effectively teach this course. She reads the powerpoint aloud each class and has quizzes each Friday. I really wish I didn't have to take this class for my major. I do not recommend taking this professor.

She does not know how to teach. She tests us on the material and THEN maybe teaches. Caroff's class is to be avoided. She gives 2 50 point tests (she calls quizzes) every week and doesn't know what she is talking about most of the time. She cancels class often due to illness or her falling. She is by far the worst professor I have ever had.

Dr. Caroff is so nice and very understanding. She gives a lot of assignments but they are so easy and as long as you do them you get full credit for it. There are a lot of projects and presentations as well but theyre all group work so you better sit with people who will do their share. Overall I loved her.

This class was a HUGE waste of time and money - while it was easy, I didn't learn a thing.. and this was one of those courses that I actually might need in my profession some day. She literally doesn't teach at all. I wish I had never taken her.

She is very flustered and shows little respect for her students.She grades things very slowly. Over a month & still have not received my test grade back. It has been almost 2 months for my paper. She complains that she has things "going on" & that she must "endeavor" to grade them. Meanwhile almost the end of the semester & have no idea my grade.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. She was incredibly rude and did not remotely care about our success in her class. She sits there and talks AT her students and does not want to waste her time listening to your questions if you have them. I would recommend taking her if you do not have to.

Very nice lady but very disorganized and flustered. The class does not follow the syllabus and she is all over the place. The assignments were easy but difficult to complete because she doesn't explain her expectations clearly. She is very slow with grading assignments. The textbooks are not necessary to purchase, rarely used them.

DO NOT TAKE HER. This class is very frustrating and I can honestly say I learned nothing. She does not help students and she does not explain assignments. Grading takes forever and she is not a fair grader. The entire class was spent on phones/computers not paying attention.

Very easy and very nice. Not hard to do well in her class, just stay on top of all extra credit assignments and hand everything in. I earned an A+ but literally did not learn anything. Depends on if you just want a good grade or to learn from the course.
