She has fun lectures, so it is not just her lecturing the whole time. Her tests can be hard if you haven't studied, but makes good study guides to help. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and takes the highest grade as the 100% to help curve grades. knows a lot about topic and interesting class. Make sure you come to class or lose point

The most helpful of the 3 psych 101 teachers. She is very nice and willing to help. Pretty easy to learn from, and goes through a lot of information during each class period. Go to class and read the book, it will really help. There is a lot of reading and the tests are hard. Do the extra credit, it will help your grade a lot.

Comment:

Dr. Cross is a nice lady. Her research is multicultural, so teaching this class was right up her alley. The tests were pretty difficult, and the final paper was super long, and presenting in front of the class for 8 minutes sucked, but I still learned quite a bit from the class. Final grade was based on a curve, thank God.

Read ALL assigned chapters in the book. Attend every class and moderately pay attention. With those two things, you'll do great. Dr. Cross is very sweet. She loves what she is teaching and she is very willing to help students who have questions or concerns.

She wasn't a bad professor, she wasn't an especially good one, she was just wasn't that memorable. And that's not entirely her fault: end of semester, spring, she has a low-key style, and most of the grades were already determined. Still, if you see her name listed for psychology go for it since she seemed like she'd be nice in advanced classes.

Cross is very nice and helpful when you have questions. Out of all the Pysch. professors that teach 101 she was my favorite. Her notes really prepare you for the test and she has a really really good study guide!

What an awesome teacher! I liked her teaching style the best out of all 3 professors for Psych 101. Her notes are easy to follow and prepare you well for her test. She is also a very nice person with a great attitude.
