She's laid back and enjoys her students. However, don't take this class unless you're looking to do screenwriting as a career. It's more about pitching a script than it is developing your screenwriting skills. She talks a lot, which makes a long class even longer.

very fair and enjoyable class...Demasi listens to the students and encourages their ideas, she hasn't been teaching this class for long, but definitely is enthusiastic about the subject and is good at what she does.

She's the kind of teacher that already has her own preregistered idea of what kind of student you are before she even knows you. She's not encouraging at all. I could have just bought the books and learned from them. This was mostly a waste of time. Although, I met some great people!
