One of my favorite profs. Really cares about students and her material. Great sense of humor, engaging and fun. Sometimes gets off topic, but you still learn a lot. Gives tons of essay prompt options, and devotes an entire class to paper-writing to help you learn. Always available if you need her.

Susan was a joy to take a class with--very engaged with the material and her students, and also extremely humble and completely ego-less. She grades VERY hard on papers, but not maliciously--she mandates revisions which allow room to improve, and if you take the time to do so, she'll recognize it. A very upbeat, eccentric, and kind professor.

Dr. Greenfield is a wonderful professor--attentive, friendly and readily available, she leads students down new paths of interdisciplinary thought through the class texts. However, she does focus a bit too much on feelings, symbolism, &c. rather than theory, but that's my opinion.

Dr. Greenfield is, quite simply, an excellent professor. She takes a sincere interest in her students and their work, and as a result helps develop their writing skills through tough grading. Class is always interesting, and I'm convinced she can make any text fun to study. Work was overall light, just read and do the assignments and papers.

What can I say? I love Professor Greenfield. I think she is such an amazing educator; she is engaging, caring, and passionate about her work. I enjoyed her class, and I improved as a writer greatly! HOWEVER, she is an extremely tough grader, and you have to put in A LOT of work. Her class is no easy A.

Very nice and enthusiastic. Always clears things up, sometimes too much. On the teaching side, if you took AP lit in HS this class will just be a less intense version of it. We read contemporary authors and go over them ad nauseum. She makes everyone talk, i didnt like her lack of confidence in what she said...she's not bad though, not great eithe

Very enthusiastic. Likes non-conventional interpretations, as long as they can be supported. Quizzes are kind of high schoolish, but good grade-boosters if you read. Funny. Turns otherwise dry material into thought-provoking discussions. At times a little scatter-brained, but always end up back on track. Take her!

I'm gonna miss Dr. Greenfield. She was my first class of the day, and it gave me a reason to get up on time. She really made that hour fly by, and I was actually sad to leave class. Shes really funny, sometimes unintentionally, and made the class very interesting. Papers were not easy, but if you read, you could do it. Definately do the drafts.
