Dr. Levy is fabulous. She is here FOR THE STUDENTS and this is obvious in her approach to teaching. You will have to work hard. It would be ridiculous if you didn't, it's grad school. Come to class ready to learn and apply the concepts she teaches you to the research you are interested in. You will take a lot away from these classes (601 & 602).

it is hard class and she is even harder. she is not fair, only play with favorites.If you are not her one of the best than veryyy GOOD LUCK to you. Exam freaking long writing and hard. She doesnt like excuses, she is not flexible at all. She likes to cut points from everywhere from assignments and exams. Bad thing you have to take it and no options

The best graduate teacher in the entire ENS department. She will challenge you, but that is a good thing--it's grad school! Solid explanations, really cares about her students, and practices what she preaches. Study, study, study. This class will take time so carry a light load.

I stressed in this class, it is so hard!! I guess Dr. Levy tried to make it easy, but it still is very very very hard. Good Luck if you take this class, she gives very hard exams. The assignments weren't too bad, though.

Dr Levy is a really great professor. I'd even venture to say one of the best ones in ENS. She is clear & makes learning stats okay. She's super intuitive & can totally tell if she's talking over the students' heads. Her door is always open to students & loves to help. Just don't make it a habit to be late to her classes & no need to buy the book.

If you want to petition for a higher grade at the end of the semester, all you have to do is beat her in an arm-wrestling contest! SWEEETTT (kidding, but you'll understand when you see her) Not the most exciting subject, but she taught it well and I learned a lot. Not that there are any other teachers for that class though, LOL. Her lectures last forever. She repeats herself many many many times to make sure everyone understands. She is very helpful in office hours, and with any questions. Her jokes are lame, but somewhat entertaining. Just show her some effort and you will do well. Does not take attendence, but you need to go to class.
