Class is actually kinda boring. But her assignments are rather easy. Her criticism of your essays are extremely helpful. The rewrites are also helpful. Teaches a lot of things that you could use again later. Would recommend taking her expository writing class.

She's an ok teacher. She doesn't give hard assignments and the rewrites are SO helpful. However, she doesn't have a friendly personality & I never felt comfortable talking to her one on one. I didn't mind taking her class, I just wish she had been friendlier.

Not only do i still use what i learned my freshman year in her class, constantly, but i remember her as fair, challenging and that she went extremely out of her way to help me with the final assignment. She bent over backwards for her classes. =)

I took this class in F02 but I still carry with me the skills I learned in this class. Professor Meyers is, in some respects, very difficult, but by the same token she knows what she's teaching and is passionate about the subject.

It is not Susan Meyers fault that you hate writing. Her comments to writing samples are very helpful and she really exerts herself to improve the quality of writing of the class. You take out of her class what you put in to it.
