Assignments in this class are not clear and rarely come with a rubric. Assigns several random assignments then never asks for them to be turned in. Wrote around 8 papers for the class and never received an A. Quizzes given are very hard to do well on without the use of the book.

If you value your education do not take this professor. I cannot stress enough that she is the worst professor I have ever taken. she does not give As or Bs, she wants her students to fail. She gives test that make no sense at all. She knows nothing about her content area and gives lectures that make absolutely no sense. Don't take her, seriously.

The instructor is very passionate about topics and will make you a better writer, however she is very vague. Assignments are usually only described once verbally, no handouts and 0 utilization of blackboard make it difficult to know what the assignments are about. Emails of what we think the assignments are occur weekly between students.

First off, she refuses to give anyone a 100% so be aware. Three unexcused absences drops you a letter grade. Doesn't stick to deadlines and quizzes are very in-between the lines material. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Don't take Suan. Don't do it. Do not get me wrong, she's a nice lady and really passionate about history. She has high expectations and expects you to have the same knowledge that she has about everything. If you don't have the information she wants in your paper your grade will be low. Her guidelines are never extremely clear for papers.

Very difficult class. She is extremely vague with her assignments, and changes her outline formats frequently. If you don't want to write a lot, do not take this class. Also, read, because if you don't, you'll find yourself overwhelmed due to lack of understanding of her assignments and occasional quizzes/tests.

The reviews on this site had me scared silly, but this teacher was not bad at all. This is a teacher that cares and that expects you to do the assignments to the best of your ability. This is not a blow-off class and you will not get good grade if you put in minimal effort. If you do the assignments as instructed, you will get a good grade.

She was always late for class, but if a student walked in 2 minutes after her she would give them hell. She "doesn't give As and Bs." If you work your butt off, you can get a B though. No As in our class. Her lectures were painful to sit through and she often went off on a tangent that had absolutely nothing to do with what we were reading about.

She is the worst teacher EVER! Do yourself a favor and DON'T take this class.She gave us busy work all of the time and never was clear on anything. She told the entire class that the highest grade in 2 classes was a C and that if we re did it all over again, we MIGHT get a C+..She's horrible!

Here's the thing...she'll 100% scare the shiznit out of you in the begginning. "No one ever gets A's in my classes" Ive never been so scared in my entire life. But work hard.
