Dr. Neylan is a great prof who will care about you as long as you show you care about the course. She gives good feedback and helps if you ask her for help. Her lectures are always interesting and tutorials provide an interesting learning environment. Easy my favourite prof in my university career.

She was a nice prof, not outstanding by any means but clearly loves what she teaches which is great. She uses powerpoints which are really helpful for studying from. She is definitely a tough grader (which is her right to do so), however I did not find class to be super interesting. The material was interesting, but it was hard to be engaged.

Even though she was all over the place when lecturing, she was interesting to listen to. She was very reasonable and always willing to help you if you needed it. A lot of readings, though!

Fun and engaging prof, but her lectures aren't structured so that note-taking is easy. Also gets off-topic quite frequently. Do not take this class if you don't know the basics about Canadian history!!

She expands way too much that you dont know whats significant and whats not. The assignments are interesting enough but the content is a bore! I dread going to class because of the mumbling and she does not inspire me or interest me in continuing with Canadian History.

Terrible prof. Does not understand about extensions (we aren't all only taking your class you know) Not at all clear. Has high expectations, but doesn't tell you what it is she is expecting. Lectures are long, boring and contain very little relevant content. She's scattered and uninspiring. Oh, and not funny. So stop pretending to be.
