Professor Nolan is an awesome professor who really knows a lot about psychology. She really cares about the material and her students passing. Her exams are not difficult as long as you study, participate in research and do the homework you should be fine.

If you're not a Psychology major DONT take this class. Lectures are interesting but only cover basic concepts, and ALOT of material is "do on your own." Exams are challenging but not impossible. Alot of studying on your own and reviewing the online homework assignments will help you pass. This class was unnecessarily challenging for an INTRO course

I enjoyed this psychology class a lot but i had it for two and a half hours at 8am which made it a little less enjoyable. She is great with examples and answering questions. She will help you as much as you need. Tests are hard if you do not leave time to study. She is very nice and enthusiastic about her teachings. Definitely would take her again!

Tough class, but she keeps it interesting. Come to class, pay attention, and study. That's how you get a good grade. She makes the tests hard so you can challenge yourself. High grades don't come easy, you have to earn them. She's willing to help you if you need it.

I had an extreme personal situation (i.e. a death in the family) and she took 5 points off my final grade for missing the in-class assignment during the funeral. I tried to contact her and she ignored my emails and was never around when I went to her office. She was superficial as a professor and took a lackluster approach to interesting material.

This was a great class. Dr. Nolan is challenging but fair, and you learn a lot. She won't spoon-feed you, but if you approach her for help she'll make sure you get it. She's totally nice not rude, just come to class and do the work and don't make excuses. You get to drop your worst exam so it doesn't matter that she doesn't do make ups.

This was certainly not the best class/prof I've ever had but it also wasn't the worst. I would avoid taking her again because she was rude and standoffish but I still got an A-. Says class attendance is optional but then gives pop quizzes to check for attendance. All in all, if you have another choice, take it.

Don't take this class, her lectures are useless and she rambles about nothing. Very rude to the students and unwilling to make exceptions for exam schedules no matter what the circumstance. Her exams are way more intense then she says. Bottom line, worst experience with a psych class I've ever had.

Prof. N isn't anal retentative about her work, she makes sure that the work is fair for everyone. She only helps students who show a genuine interest in helping themselves. I mean she will only help you once you are going out of your way to help yourself. She's def helpful and considerate to her students.

Dr. Nolan is a very sexy, sophisticated lady. She's way smart and she's out to help you. She will only extend her hand if she knows that you're trying, like really trying. You can't BS and act sad around her, she's too smart for that. Her class was very straight forward and gives details for the work

She was difficult with the workload in the beginning, but as the semester went on it became easire because you're on top of everything. Her class was a work in progress, she's helpful once she knows you're willing to make the extra effort.Once you show her you are trying, she will help you.

It's simple: come to class, do the work, maintain contact with the prof and you'll do FINE. Dr. N is understanding just not towards lazy or whiny students. 'Can't blame her; they screw up the class for the rest of us!

she is extremely anal. She is like a robot. She is not understanding to her students. She tries to be a perfectionist. Its as if she has no feelings or compassion towards her students. She also doesnt seem to be concerned with the success of her students and making it a course they will enjoy.

Her class was kinna hard in the beginning, but it's not bad. She explains what she wants and doesn't try to trick you. The research paper was a bit difficult but it's a work in progress through out the semester, so the final paper is just to hand it in. The presentation was nerve racking but easy.
