Such an caring and amazing teacher. Gives clear concise information with notes that are easy to follow. If you pay attention, do the notes and in class quizzes (in groups as well as individually) you will pass easily. Very approachable and will give amazing help as well as in depth conversations when asked questions.

Susan is fantastic, she is kind and friendly and loves the course that she teaches. She makes the work enjoyable and even does things like field trips and brings pizza and candy to class. Her fun classroom environment makes the content interesting and her lectures are helpful if you take good notes. But get ready for the midterm, it's a hard one!

Susan is awesome and I would for sure take her class again. Her lectures can be boring but she makes sure to include group work near the end. She does have quizzes at the end of each class so be aware of that.

Purdy is one of my most liked teachers! She is helpful and her class room is very enjoyable. Her teaching style helps you so much throughout the course and in the end you will end up with a better grade then normal. She is a tough grader but she really knows what is is talking about and is a fun respectable women.

Purdy is a great professor. She's passionate about her teaching and is very well educated! She's also very great to talk to about any questions and is happy to help in any way she can. Labs can be boring but are soo helpful. Her notes are always clear and her teaching isn't boring. Definitely recommend her for biology courses.

I really enjoyed her class. You really don't need the textbook - all of her exams came from her notes. The exam was super easy and the labs weren't too bad - a couple of fieldtrips. She's passionate about her subject and just a really interesting person to talk to. Looove her! I suggest her to anyone! :)

Great teacher. informative. no need to attend lecture if you can and will read your book. Labs are a must...lab in this class is worth 40% so its super fair, and webct are worth 10%...i got 90% overall on that part worth out of 50% of the class...the midterm was hard i thought, and final was better...GO TO THE LABS!

Best teacher. She'll help you with labs, has excellent power point notes, gives you many chances to get great marks. I haven't even cracked the text and I'm doing well she makes this class 100% better than it could have been with someone else
