Whitlow is simply amazing. She has an awesome personality and is more than willing to help you if you ask for it. She makes the class fun to attend. The semester starts off with short stories to read and discuss (she might have you write about it to make sure you read it), and 3 papers (easy grader). Gives extra credit for days attendance is low.

Amazing teacher who made online British Literature as entertaining as possible, and is super helpful when you need it. Definitely a teacher who grades fairly. I would recommend her a million times over!

Whitlow is the greatest! She is very funny, yet serious about her job. In Comp I, she had us do peer grading of rough drafts of essays before having an individual conference with her in her office. During these conferences, she was very, very helpful. If you show up to class and take her advice on your papers, you will pass her class very easily.

Took online Brit Lit. Loved the prof. because she didn't bog things down with a lot of muck. She gave your reads, you took a short quiz. There were a couple of short papers to write and the grading was more than fair. She also exempted me from taking the final because my avg was 101. That was AWWWWSOME! :) Recommend this prof!

I had Mrs. Whitlow Spring 2010 for British Literature. I would highly recommend Mrs. Whitlow! Her lectures are great and she is outgoing and has a great sense of humor. For your essay, please take advantage of her viewing your rough draft. She is picky on content. I haven't had advanced composition and I still got a B! She's a great professor!

She is a total nit picker on things that should not even matter. For example the reference guide clearly states to put a title page in a paper for MLA formatting however she says there shouldnt be a title page. There are many other things just be wise and take another teacher you will get a far better grade!

This is my second time to have Whitlow (had her for freshman english I), and who knew that someone could make a world lit web class halfway entertaining? She has an amazing personality and her humor shows even through the notes she posts on webct. Tries her best to get everyone interested in the material. Most helpful teacher I have ever had!

Ms.Whitlow is a God send to my little English majoring world. She does expect her students to do well, but she is always willing to help. If one goes to class, pays attention, and does the work, one should pass the class with a high B or A!
