Great teacher, made class fun and enjoyable. She is really passionate about what she teaches. It is a lot of reading between the textbook and the secondary reader. If you go to class and do the readings youll do fine.

I thought she was a great teacher. She had a personal issue this semester and was out for 2 weeks and we had Dr Maier in the interim, I couldn't wait for her to get back!!! She is very sweet and funny.

seriously, get ready to read. book and articles every week. make sure that you are sitting at your computer when your enrollment period opens. women and sexuality are the first two classes to be filled. seriously. I had to get a permission number because the class was closed in the first minute and i made such a big deal to the department head

Dr. Osman is passionate about teaching this material. Not much opportunity for extra credit but if you skim the textbook and pay attention and take notes in lecture you'll do fine. Very interesting considering I am a woman and appreciated what was taught.

Took Human Sexuality as a hybrid online course. Very interesting subject matter but be prepared to read. 5 question true/false quiz after each chapter. 3 brief essay papers and 3 exams. Defiantly suggest taking this course!

to be honest I would loveeeeee the class if the readings wernt soo damn long. I work a lot and the fact that every chapter you HAVE to read would take me like 4 hours. it was hard to understand the material. she made class fun and interesting for sure but this class takes a lot of time to deal with. quizzes easy as pie. exams ehhh not so much

i don't really care for her too much. thats just me. the course is super interesting and you can tell that she likes what she does. she is enthusiastic. exams are difficult. must read the book, read over notes, and articles to pass them. they are worded for higher level and go over little details in the reading. if you read you will get an A.

Comment:

Psychology of Women was fun. The material is actually interesting, & majority of it is common knowledge if you're a woman. There are 3 tests (including final), 3 very small 6 point quizzes & 1 entirely too easy paper. If you pay attention in class & read the short articles that are assigned you will pass class the class with a B or better no doubt.

The worst class I have taken at Salisbury. She continually repeats herself throughout lecture. She also believes she has a lot of knowledge in biology (I'm a bio major). Almost everything she said in regards to science and biology was incorrect. She tries to use the shock factor in this class instead of focusing on the psychology of sexuality.

Very boring teacher. Talks in circles without realizing it. Makes lectures meaningless because all the test questions from lecture are simple common sense that everyone gets right. Then half the test is 5 chapters in the book and she will pick out the least important so you basically have to study everything which is ridiculous. Frequently late.

Here's the deal: one half of her exams is STRAIGHT from lecture. The other half is STRAIGHT from the textbook. Ten questions at the end are from other readings. If you don't go to class, you won't do well. If you don't do the readings, you won't do well. 3 exams, one paper. Plain and simple.

she's nice and class is interesting. but so much material to remember. info seems like common sense so you'll wanna skip class...but DON'T! Exams come mainly from lecture and reading book alone wont get you good grade. teaches from powerpoint but it seems kinda unorganized...ok class i suppose.

Tests are based on lectures so go to class. She uses power point. Very nice woman. Her tests are a little hard so study your notes(note cards helped). does offer some extra credit at the end of the semester. But you only have 3 tests and thats it.
