Lectures our read right off the slides and can get pretty confusing if you don't have a good base of chemistry knowledge. She teaches at a pretty fast pace so If you miss one lecture, you'll end up having to drop the course since you miss a lot of content. Although lectures aren't mandatory, you get graded on clicker participation.

she is soooooo bad she doesnt know how to teach her french accent makes it worse with her little voice as sometimes you can't hear what she says even if you sit at the front. her tests are hard compared to the homework she gives and things she teaches in class. Her lectures are soo boring and imagine having monotonic prof for 4 hours continuously

This is a self teaching program. Her tests are very unfair when taking into account what she presents. Criteria for grading? a joke considering very poor quality of classes and her mistakes. To learn, she is not the one. JUst stay away from them - she and the professor she follows. The course is for their egos not to teach CHEM 1000.

Absolutely pathetic. While every other class does a test on 1 chapter, for some reason she puts 3 chapters in 1 test. Unfair and boring prof. avoid

Her lectures are very boring, she reads right off the ppts which are posted online. If you can learn from a textbook, don't bother going to lecture. DO THE TEXTBOOK QUESTIONS! Her tests are fairly straight forward but I don't recommend her if you can't self tech the course.

Great prof, goes through a lot of example problems in class, very open to any questions during lectures. Clear and concise when lecturing, and tells you exactly what to know and study. Tests are more than fair, but kind of long, so practice to speed up solving time is needed. Exam is a bit more challenging however, so must know your stuff.

I don't know why people are making her seem bad! She is an amazing prof! Very helpful, she tries to the best of her ability to help her students! Go to her during her office hours and she will help you understand anything. Read the text book, do the questions and you will do fine. Also practice with past tests. Her tests are fair.

Don't know why everyone's complaining-she was good! Yes, she was fairly disorganized and made mistakes in class, but if you read and somewhat understood the textbook, that shouldn't bother you so much. She was always very nice in class, and tried very hard to explain things in various ways to help people understand.

She is a very nice person, and wants to help, but is not the best teacher. Before lectures reading the textbook it would be clear, then she would confuse us all. Basically taught myself the course. Her tests also aren't representative of what you learn in class. Plus, had to memorize formulas (only Prof that had us to this)!

Really nice proff. but her french accent is really thick making it hard to understand at times. Found the tests difficult as well, even though she went back and remarked our class's tests 'cause the average was too low. Overall you'll have to end up relying heavily on the text book.

There's no point going to class, she makes no sense. I taught myself chemistry with the textbook. Formulas were not given on her exams while other sections were given formula sheets. I went to her for extra help once and she was nice, friendly but not very helpful. Avoid her, she cannot teach!
