Comment:

Gets off track very easily. Once a week class that is almost three hours long. Doesn't talk much about the actual content of the class. Says that the exams are based off of chapters from the textbook but its usually from lecture note. Get ready to be bored.

Comment:

Nice person and gives good feedback. Unit plans are ridiculously long though. I put in 8-9 hours on the first one. Final is fairly easy. Just a lot of work with 30 hours of interning, 4 separate lesson plans to actually teach in your mentor's classroom, and 30 pages of reflections about your internship. Pretty sure final grade was on a curve.

Dr. Uhrich was so enthusiastic. It was an 8am, but I barely minded, because she was so fun to listen to. We were encouraged to write papers on topics we were interested in, and she was really helpful with the process. Don't miss class though. I did that and lost so many points on the essay for not learning how to cite.

This class was an easy A for me. However, I hated this class. Don't get me wrong, she's very nice and willing to help, but she would repeat the same things every class and it was a complete waste of my time. I struggled to stay awake because it was so boring. There were hardly any notes, just the readings and listening to her ramble.

She is a very energetic teacher which reflects her good attitude towards teaching. She tends to ramble on and loses her point most of the time which can be a bit humorous. You hardly ever have to study except the day before the exam. The final research paper is pretty open-ended and allows you to write something of your own interest.

She legitimately does not teach anything in the class. It has been a waste of time to be enrolled in this class with her. She knows what she is talking about, but does not explain anything, and then she expects you to know the information on the exams. Do not take this class.

VERY TOUGH TEACHER, make sure you read the guidleines VERY well.... It took awhile to get to know her and ger along with her, but, I am glad I did. She can be very helpful and nice, if, you put forth the effort.

Awesome lady. She makes miserably boring material somewhat enjoyable which is extremely hard to do. There is a midterm and a final.. just study the notes and the textbook and you'll do fine. One paper.. no attendance policy. Overall i would suggest taking this class simply because one, no attendance policy, and two she's cool.

Tab is so awesome! I love listening to her teach me because she loves pe so much and she makes class so interesting. I also like how she gets me to interact with the class, since I am so shy! Def take her if you want a professor who is very inspiring and teaches so great!

Tab is amazing. She loves PE and is one of the best PE professors in the department. its a philosophy class, so its definitley boring, she does her best. Exams are too hard (3) and the philosophy paper is good to, just about what you would do it your class. Easy class, great teacher.

Urlich is really cool and really enthusiastic about PE. This class on the other hand was easy but boring. She uses PPT for lecture, there are three tests and a final philosophy paper, but dont sweat about that!
