Great professor, if you take this class I| strongly advise that you be in his class. His explanations were very clear and easy to understand, but like many of these other comments say, if you have a question, make sure it is a good one, otherwise he will make you feel like a moron for asking.

Some students don't realize how good of a Professor Dr. Ghorab is! I go to UofT and am taking ELE202 at Ryerson during the summer. Ghorab is better than all of my profs at UofT! Derives every relationship in class which really builds intuition. Coupled with the examples he provides...absolutley AMAZING! Attend all his lectures and you will do well!

He is rude, but he knows exactly what he is doing. He will insult you if you ask stupid questions or get (what he thinks should be) obvious stuff wrong. Just keep your head low and listen to what he has to say. Do stuff *HIS WAY* not the way the book does it. Derive EVERYTHING on tests. Do NOT memorize formulas.

Better than Mohhamad and Karim lecture wise in some ways. Not an approachable proffsor. Does not treat students the same way he would like to be treated. Old School , strict. Makes you feel like a dumb ass. overall his lectures are effective but he is not approachable which makes it difficult to learn. He is not a good person overall.

Does not treat students with respect which makes students not want to ask questions in his class. He does teach ok but not that great. If he were to treat students with more respect then he would be a better prof. Also takes of marks like crazy. If you do a math error you automatically lost half your marks even if your steps are right, RIDICULOUS.

I took 202 in summer and 302 in fall 2004 from him. I am not sure if he still teaches. But he is a gem, grab him if he's around. You'll do good in this course if you study the book before going to class, attend all his lectures, take notes and do all your homework otherwise not. Also, try to sit on front seats as he sounds very low due to his age.

I wont suggest any1 to goto his class.He talks so low that all you will be doing in class is to concentrate on his lip moments.Then,he struck marks like anything.Good at insulting people.If you will find any diffulty,goto his room,he will suggest u to drop the course instead of helping u through hard time.Talks cheap.To him, circuits r sexy.Crap!
