Weekly discussion, four exams and four response papers. Follow the instructions in the syllabus, you will do fine. She is an easy grader. Easy A

This class covers interesting material, in a lecture style which makes it extremely boring. The ID quizzes are relatively easy, but sometimes points are subtracted because in Professor Greens opinion there not relevant. The essays assigned cover topics discussed in class, but the grading is extremely harsh.

Don't be fooled by her joking personality she is a TOUGH grader. Her papers are graded really harshly and her ID quizzes are basically based on what SHE thinks is important and she takes of points randomly. Really hard to get a hold of her for meetings and questions as well and barely responds to e-mails.

A wonderful professor, with so much knowledge it will amaze you. Great sense of humor, and totally a fair grader. Of course, you have to actually do the work and write well, which is obvious...this is college. She is a great professor, and I feel lucky to have taken a class with her.

She is by far the best teacher I've ever met (and I've lived in several countries during my lifetime). I took classes with her in my late teens mainly. I'm now 37 and Prof. Green's teachings have influenced me the most of all the teacher's in the world. I continue to be a huge fan. If you have the priviledge to take a class with her, you should.

Don't be fooled by the charm act. It's just an act to mask a mean-spirited, passive- aggressive individual. Grading is subjective. Avoid if you value your GPA. She uses voodoo math to give you bad grades. This is the truth.

The class lecture and discussion was very interesting and lively. She is smart, funny, and loves the subject. She lets you rewrite everything and her suggestions are very helpful. It can take a while to get your grades but they are fair. She wants her students to like the subject as much as she does and wants you to do well.

Professor Green is outstanding. Friendly, learned, profound, fair, respectful. She has strong opinions but she encourages students to express themselves in class. She uses a course-pack composed of the best books. Engaging lecture style. Demanding but evenhanded in grading. Still waters run deep.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! The best professor at Hunter - she is extremely passionate and intelligent, nice and caring and has a great sense of humor. She made me even more interested in classics and I can't wait to take more classes with her. I laugh at those students saying negative things.

Brimming with unjustified arrogance. Her boasting is amusing, but her teaching will put you to sleep. 'Hard' grader, eg, you will learn to spout the kind of cliches she appreciates rather than attempt meaningful analysis.

Prof. Green is a phenomenal professor. This class is HARD, I spent HOURS on homework and studying for quizzes and exams, but it was definitely worth it, as I gained an appreciation for ancient Greek. If I ever had a question or was confused about something, Prof. Green ALWAYS took the time to help me. She is patient, kind, and a wondeful person.

classes: LAT 316, CLA 302, GRK 110 & 203. Wonderful teacher of the classics and probably one of the best sources of inspiration. Great sense of humour is she is impeccably in touch with reality, especially the realities of the Hunter Community.

Not only is she a fabulous teacher but she is also a great Department Chair.I've had several classes with her - and they were all intellectually challenging, engaging, and above all else fun. She doesn't just teach about the ancient past for its own sake, instead, she tries to show how themes and issues in the past can be relevant for the present.
