She is like having one of your friends teach a class. She's extremely nice and helpful. She cares a lot about her field and students well being. The content of her course is focused on helping you succeed in your career as opposed to priming you for tests like many other professors usually do. She easily became one of my favorite teachers.

Dr. James is awesome. She is the professor who will ask how you're doing, and then actually care to hear the answer. Loved everything about her class. I never enjoyed a class so much before! She taught me a lot about health, teaching, and life in general. I would take another class of hers in a heartbeat!

Dr. James is honestly one of the best professors I have had in my college career! She talks about information relevant to today's teachers and is helpful, full of information and great ideas as well as being funny to boot! Originally I was worried about having a 3 hr. class two times a week - but it is so worth it and goes by in a breeze!!
