Well...I can understand why people like her, but I really felt like she picked favorites. I was a comm. minor (which she knew), and I really felt like she could've cared less about what I had to say. I didn't think there was anything spectacular about her lectures, and I also don't think her lectures reflected on test material. Good luck.

Great person, nice, helpful and fun. Don't let all that fool you though, her tests are hard and you must study your ass off if you want to do well. She makes you work for your grade but in a good way, makes it fun and gives you LOTS of opportunities to earn bonus points.

She is a nice person and very helpful outside of class. However, she has a gift for wasting class time. This wouldnt be a problem if it werent for the fact that she tests you on things you werent taught.

Fun class. Too bad that her tests don't reflect what we learned in class. Group projects, memorization/regeritation heavy tests and lots of fantastic discussion best describe the class. And hey--lets update the material--the book is old and sucks, the overhead slide are pathetic and the 1980-90 ad examples are well...severeely outdated.

her tests are hard, but she is a really good teacher, she knows and enjoys what she is doing. you can find all of the class notes on her website which is super helpful, and she helps in every way she can plus she gives extra credit
