Although I found I did not learn a lot from the class, I did improve upon my listening and counselling techniques. He is rather dull about the material but he is very great guy. He really cares about his students and he is very understanding. His course consists of 1 paper, weekly quizzes and a presentation, as well as group discussions.

Hated this class. Terry is completely full of himself and just rambles on about himself instead of actually teaching anything. He's an easy marker, but its not even worth it. He drove me nuts.

I felt the class was him trying to just sell his book and his friend's book. You have to write a book report on a book HE wrote, and here's the fun part - you talk about where's the best place to buy organic cheese. I'm not kidding.

Every lecture he repeats himself over and over again. Learned a little. Lacks sensitivity and sometimes puts students in awkward position in front of class. Vague agenda for each class. Read chapter each week and take quiz but no relation to lectures each week. Easy class to get A in. I think his better days as an instructor are behind him.

pretty easy teacher.8 online quizzes worth 40% of grade, easy to get 20/20 on each one except for the first. 5 page book review which is easy and a 8-12 page personal foundation essay which is really easy too. class is pretty boring but he talks about health a lot and talks a bit about job interviews etc. will take 265 with him

Amazingly easy prof, interesting class. Can get boring sometimes but if you care about your health and want to learn ways on staying healthy and balancing your stress, it's a good class to take. Only one paper which was really easy. Very easy marker!! I recommend you take this class if you want an easy A with little effort.

i did not learn anything in this class. it is basically a 'life course'. half the semester was meditation and a lesson in diets. the second part of the semester was interview practice. two papers very easy and 8 online quiz 20Q each.

I agree with about "whole-body" education, diet, relaxation, ect but his testing based off of the textbook is ridiculous and frustrating. His analysis of the papers is completely biased and once you understand what he "wants" most people lie about their life goals and get good marks, while those who talk about who they are receive mediocre marks.

I think Terry Anderson is a terrible teacher. He made use buy 5 books and he had written everyone! I felt like he was trying to sell us stuff in every class, he made use listen to a CD he made and tried to make use buy it. It was the worst class i've ever taken! i would never take one of his classes again.
