Super hard class. You will learn about accounting through fear. He curves the class immensely at the end so you will think your failing the whole time, but probably end up with a C. And he is easy on the eyes for those wondering.

He lectures for 10 minutes and then makes you do problems out of the book. Most questions he can't answer because he misunderstands what you're asking. He is disorganized, seems confused, and is only going through the motions (he mentions his tenure status almost daily.) He should be retired already. Nice guy though...

Complete ass. Ive never worked so hard in a class and received little reward. Studied for endless hours, and still managed to get C's or worse on the exams. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. PS I WAS A SCHOLAR UNTIL THIS CLASS.

Not a good teacher at all!!! Doesn't know how to explain things, especially for students who are not accounting majors!! Tests are hard, he has no study guide or notes! Avoid him if you are not an accounting major!!!

I've had him for ACC 250, 301, and 302. I received a B+, A-, & B+. His tests are usually hard. The first 2 tests are always hardest to try to get people to drop that shouldn't be there. Tests are over 2 chapters (100 pgs) and you must know every sentence. Read the chapters the night before the exam and get a B. I really liked having him for a prof.

if you take school serious you will do fine. If you do just enough to get by then you will do poorly. Definitley not impossible though. I had never had accounting going into this class, an consider myself an average student. Im getting an A and also now majoring in accounting.

Arndt is a very hard professor, not impossible, but very hard. He expects a lot out of his students. He told our class if you can get an A in his class you should major in accounting. He drops the lowest exam and a few of the lowest quizzes and he curves a lot. Study for at least 4 hours before every exam and you'll do fine.

Avoid this teacher, he is the hardest teacher I have ever had! It's too hard to even explain how hard he is. Do yourself a favor and avoid this teacher at all costs. It is nearly impossible, half of the class failed when I had him a year ago. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS TEACHER! It is way easier with any other teacher besides ardnt.

He's not THAT bad. Hes actually pretty nice and pretty fair. he drops your lowest test and throws out a couple of your bad quizzes. Gives out helpful chapter handouts too.

I go to every class, pay attention, do the homework and study for hours for this class and I'm still getting D's on his exams. I get 100% on all the quizzes but he makes his tests impossible on purpose. He is not helpful if in the classroom or one on one because he makes you feel like an idiot and doesn't explain anything at all. Avoid Arndt!!!

The worst accounting teacher i ever had. Doesn't know how to teach, he just always says are you with me on that? and cant even read what he writes on the board. he tell you to study things not even on the test. half the class dropped and failed stay away if you can.
