Awesome prof. He is very engaging and loves opinions during his lectures which makes for a really fun and open learning environment. Plus he isn't biased to any political view that obviously goes hand in hand with politics. I would highly recommend taking any of his courses

Terry is great at political science, his lectures were very informative and interesting. If you do what he asks on his papers, you will do well on them. His tests are easy as long as you have copied down all of the powerpoint notes, he doesn't have Moodle, so make sure you attend every class. He keeps you entertained with his hand gestures.

amazing professor. I have never had so much fun learning about politics and the ideologies. Would recommend his class to any individual. He was fun, straight forward and got to the point. Fairly easy grading, midterm/final were not very difficult.

Terry is so funny, he is always swinging his body around and giggling during lectures. Very fair grader, tests are easy as long as you have copied all the notes down. The papers have interesting topics and he teaches without bias. I learned so much from this class, very clear teaching style.

Terry is such a kind guy. He just bops around and swings his arms everywhere. He is really knowledgable about politics. I'd definitely recommend taking this class, especially if you're just getting into politics, he explains everything very clearly. He doesn't have a moodle so you have to show up to every class

Terry was really passionate with the subject with made the classes fine to go to the only problem was that each test question is out of 15-20 marks even if you can't write very many things on the subject. Textbook was also only used for papers but if you didn't provide examples you get a bad grade.

Poli 1210 with Terry was amazing! Honestly, I loved Poli Sci so much with Terry I'm planning on dropping out of my bachelor of science program and taking political science instead! Great teacher and great class.

He is probably my favourite professor I've had so far. Prepare for jokes and pronounced hand gestures, but the guy gives lectures that are both informative and humorous, and always welcomes class discussion. I would also describe him as fairly unbiased, as he can convincingly argue for any ideology.

Loved Terry! He makes political science really interesting and his lectures are super easy to follow. His papers are straight forward, and as long as you attend classes you'll do fine. Would definitely take another class with him!

Incredibly interesting lectures, but don't be surprised if and when your essays get a far weaker mark than you expected. I usually get A's on essays but I'm pulling crappy B's with his class. The exams are easy to ace with perfect marks as long as you attend class and study, though, so I guess it balances out if you're worried about your GPA.

Terry was great - lectures were interesting, notes were good and he's got a great sense of humour. He marks his papers tough, but if you work hard and know your stuff it's not too bad. Very understanding about extensions (if needed) and personal issues. Highly recommend!
