Pretty good teacher. As long as you read (which there is a lot of) you will do fine. Quizzes and presentations are easy, but the exams are tough. Questions can be hard to understand, especially if you haven't read the book or paid attention in class. Oh, and sit in the front so you can hear what he's saying.

Professor Lynch is ok. He cares about the course material. However, there are many annoying accepts about the course. Two take-home essay exams, which involve 4 papers in 3-4 days, as well as copious amounts of reading and about 12 quizzes throughout the semester on the reading. Additionally, there are group projects which are with random teams.

He is a terrible teacher. The tests are essay questions with vague prompts and arbitrary grading. He gives quizzes often and takes attendance every day. To make sure the entire class doesn't fail he makes the presentation cake and he tacks on points to your grades. I would avoid if possible, but he won't let you fail if you show up.

Thought this would be a good class, but he was a bad professor. During class discussions, all he says in response to peoples questions is, "Ok..." It's not helpful. Lots of painful group work. Quiz at beginning of class each day -- don't be late! Grueling essay exams that are terribly formatted. Nice guy, but don't take him.

Good guy not trying to fail anyone, class average in past year's have been 85~, take-home exams or essay exams closed book. Attendance is basically mandatory because there are 2 question T/F quizzes almost everyday related to the reading. Just do the easy readings, exams require very little study, and project is an easy "A". Easy group A!!!

I had this guy during the winter session, and could not imagine taking a full semester class with him. Hes a SUPER nice guy, but a horrible instructor. His lectures consists of reading DIRECTLY off powerpoints. Overall, the class is an easy A or B, just read the text, and the daily quiz's are cake.Tests are not easy, but fair.

Entire class is based on daily T/F quizzes on reading, 2 exams and a oral presentation. Quizzes are easy, I never read and still did well on them. Exams are hard, but I didn't do the reading so...and the oral presentation is CAKE! Shouldn't get less than a B in the class if you pretend to know what you are talking about.

Overall boring class with a very few interesting topics. Exams are alittle tricky. You will spend a good amount of time actually trying to decipher what the heck hes asking for. MAKE sure you keep up with the readings!!! (Usually around 150-200 pages per week, which is often very dry). Presentations are easy (grade booster). Class average = 87.3

He takes this stupid crap way too seriously. Dumb class. He waits for an eternity for someone to answer a question. Don't expect to do good on the exams, his questions are weird. Also, never misspell anything, he'll take 25% off for dumb things like that.

Lectures are like a flatboat trip along the River Styx...hellish. Wait for the famous 'hesitations.' Presentations are easy but exams(particularly the final), are impossible. Very very ambiguous questions and expects an answer that has little relevance.

Dear god what an immature ****. After years of schooling a prof should be above taking his dislike of a studuent out on their grade. I questioned him and argue some of his statistics in class, and coincidentally i failed BOTH exams. If taking, kiss ass.

He is a very nice guy but he just makes it too hard to get an A for a class that is should be easy to (I got A-). He gives out 1 A a semester and his grading is very subjective. Overall he was a good guy.
