Wonderful teacher, with a great sense of humor. It may get boring at times, but she has a good heart. Very easy class, just keep up with the quizzes and whatnot. Highly recommended! =)

Comment:

Best teacher you can have for ENC classes. Take her! 4 papers, 11 quizzes (she drops the lowest). Sweet lady and is very understanding about personal situations (if its legit). The papers aren't hard and she is an pretty easy grader. Offers ex credit on quizzes if you "motivate" her to and gives extensions to classes sometimes!

AWESOME! Made class interesting, showed Chapelle interviews and is very enthusiatic. I got my first A in Eng. Lit. ever. Even though she won't fail you, you still need to work and she actually teaches you something instead of just making you write papers.

I highly recomend Conway for Comp 1 and 2! She will assign you about 10 quizes on an easy to read novel, 3 research papers, and one non-research paper. 2 of the research papers you can work in groups, I recomend warming up to the nerds early on j/k. She makes you work for an A, but she will give out Bs any time. Average grade on papers is 85ish.

Class is pretty easy. Quizzes are extremely easy if you read and no other hw. Just do your papers, which she makes incredibly easy. Her voice is rather monotone though. You might get bored easily.

She is amazing!! Really easy going, she's always available for help with core papers. I would take her for 1102. Mrs. Conway is a very fair grader, which is good considering a lot of what you write can be opinion based. Hooray for Conway!!! :)

This class is really awesome. It's a casual class that requires reading a book, writing 4 papers, and taking quizes on the book. The papers are graded very fairly, a couple time i'd swear i'm going to get a C but I end up with a B+. She's very nice and easy to talk to, doesn't seem very opinonated (Major Plus since one papre is opinon).

first day with her... pretty clear. i wanted to learn how to write good, but when i tried to write good i ended up sounding pretty bad. the book that's assigned is almost like an instruction booklet; follow the instructions and you can become a good writter. don't treat the book as a reading assignment; it's essential to your life!

THE MOST AWESOME TEACHER FOR ENGLISH! She talked about interesting current events. Didnt have to read any "regular" boring works of literature. Our papers were interesting and she is good grader. Excellent English Prof!!! The class isn't difficult as long as you do the required reading before class and do well on the quizes, and participate in in-class discussions! Made a boring class interesting and always makes you laugh! Makes you work for an "A" on papers, but I got an A on all four!

Easiest English class I've ever taken, it was actually too easy. I was expecting more of a challenge -- oh well. Class discussions are intellectual, thought provoking core assignments, overall a good class, although the other students really irritated me.

Very enjoyable and eccentric instructor who goes beyond just text books to educate. Class consists of several reading quizzes and four fairly easy essay assignments.
