Comment:

Boyle is an amazing professor. Cares about his students and is easy to reach outside of class. No midterm and the final is a debate instead of an exam. Only take 10 quizzes and do a couple projects to make up the final grade. Take him if you can!

Dr. Boyle is my favorite professor ever! He cares so much about his students, and genuinely loves his topics. He wants the best for each of his students, and will help however he can if you just ask!

One of the nicest professors I've had at Millersville. A couple definition quizzes that are super easy. A couple tests that if you study for you'll pass. Two group presentations that are overall easy once you get the hang of what he is asking for.

Dr. Boyle is my all time favorite professor at Millersville! I have taken him for as many classes as possible. I do well in each class and I learn SO MUCH! He is always fair and is very understanding. He wont just give you a good grade, you have to work for it, but you will leave the class better than when you went in.

Dr. Boyle is great! I learned practical PR values in this class while also learning how to actually use the things I was learning. There was a lot of writing in this class, but papers were never too long. Boyle is also super understanding and kind if you talk to him ahead of time about missing class or being late on an assignment. Great prof!

Comment:

Boyle is a great professor. This class was comprised of 6 writing assignments, a mid-term, and a final. Tests are pretty difficult so be prepared to do well on writing assignments. Papers are graded using only AP Style. Will definitely prepare you for your next PR course. One of the best and most caring professors at Millersville.

He will do whatever it takes to help you. He gives lots of extra credit and will answer any question you have. His quizzes are on the vocab that he goes over but his tests are from the book not his notes. He is a really nice guy and if you go to his office hours he will help you with the things you have questions about. His projects teach a lot.

He's honestly incredibly kind and I wouldn't mind taking more classes with him. He's very straightforward on what he wants and expects, and anyone who tries will be given a pretty good grade. Very much so an awesome professor.

Professor Boyle is a nice guy. Even though I did pass this class, there were some people who did not. YOU WILL NEED THE BOOK! All of the testsquizzes are vocab. Most of the words on the quizzestests are not discussed in class so you have to study the vocab at the end of each chapter. He is BIG on citations.

Very nice guy and very knowledgeable not only about PR, but other branches of journalism and Communications as well! Always finds a way to make learning interesting. A few group projects, but they really aren't bad, and they help you understand PR better. One of the best profs in the Comm department! Can't wait to take another class with him!

I was new to the PR major this semester, and Dr. Boyle helped make it a smooth transition. I thoroughly enjoyed his PR1 class. The class gives a great overview of whats ahead in PR classes to come. I highly recommend taking him!

Take Boyle for Political Communication, you will learn so much! There is A LOT of reading and a quiz every Friday plus two big papers, so it's definitely not an easy A. But, he's a really good guy, well humored, and very knowledgeable overall. Take him!

I had this professor when I was at MU. Graduated in 2003. HE IS AWESOME!!! I use everything he taught me in my current job! Pay attention, ask questions, go to class, be honest, and you will do great!! And understand that he does have a dry sense of humor. Thats what makes class fun!!

Before you go to his "lecture" be sure you down a couple of Red Bulls. You're gonna need them. Even with that help you must still resist the urge to fall into a deep sleep. He'll gladly help if you can put up with his sad humour. If you are interested in a vocabulary test this is the guy for you. Just don't expect too much and you'll be okay.

Boyle is actually a pretty good guy, its just hard for him to relate some stuff to his students. I'm pretty sure hes some kind of genious, so we must seem like idiots to him. Be honest with him, try to stay awake during his lectures and give him a break, he'll even crack a joke sometime.
