I love Prof Cecil with all of my heart; he is so kind and such a gem! I enjoy his lectures because he breaks down and explains EVERYTHING (for some people this is excruciating, however, it is very helpful for me). His homework and tests are extremely similar so as long as you stay on top of the assignments you will do really well in the course!

Professor Cecil is a good choice for Math 135. He is a very laid back professor. His grading criteria makes it very easy to earn an A. He doesn't give an overwhelming amount of homework. This class should be an easy A if you pay attention and/or have learned the material before. Definitely recommend taking Professor Cecil.

Doesn't know how to actually teach math. Strictly lectures, does not allow you to practice the problems. Fine if you don't care whether you learn math, but if you want to know what you are doing, DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.

Easiest Math professor. Show up to class and do the homework assignments. You have to try to get less than a A or A-. Exams are basically the homework assignments with different numbers.

I've had him for 135 and 136. His lectures can be kind of long and boring because he breaks everything down into so much detail. Do all the homework and you will be fine. His tests are basically homework questions but with different numbers. Easy A if you actually do the work.

Easiest Prof. in the dept. Super nice guy and unintentionally entertaining at times. If you're trying to fulfill your requirement, definitely take him for Calc.

Without feedback from office hours the homework assignments would be very difficult to finish. He gives good feedback and his exams are very similar to the problem sets. Enjoyed his class

One of the fairest and nicest professors that I have had. He is very knowledgable on the subject. Tests are based on homeworks almost exactly and his final was not that bad.Not that much work besides weekly problem sets.

Very dense teacher and only reviews how equations are derived in class. Content introduced is very little help to homework and tests. Success is only found through prior knowledge of calculus. I do not recommend Cecil.

Really, really nice guy. You can tell he knows his stuff but he just isn't a teacher. He doesn't know how to explain things well and he isn't helpful in office hours. However, the class is easy, the homework is easy, the tests are easy. I suggest his class.

It is clear that he is one of the greatest prof. at HC. Sometimes his classes can be dreadful-tends to explain things down to the last details - big notebook is a must, but donĂ¢€™t try to copy everything he writes on the board. Overall, due to how nice and understanding he is, it leaves a good impression on the class as a whole.
