Professor Grace has a very comprehensive knowledge of the subjects scattered across engineering and holds organized lectures. He has a very fair sense of grading too. Ask him a question though--get an unwarranted glare and not many words.

very awesome professor. doesn't read from his note. start working on code from scratch. show you what kind of mistake you can make and different way of doing it.

Comment:

Took Tom for both microprocessors and circuits, and I can say that he is probably the most knowledgable person to take the class with. He writes all the textbooks are they're cheaper than average (around $60), and he is very clear when teaching the material and takes questions and answers them with confidence. I highly recommend him

Comment:

I think there were two tests in this class. Same with EGR151. Ended up taking 289 with him, and I'm taking Circuits with him. I noticed he cared a lot more about the material in 289, and you had to work a bit harder for the grade. I wasn't the best, I'm a programmer. Awesome to work with. He knows his stuff. Cengage hired him to write the book.

Comment:

Grace is the man! It will take awhile for him to open up, but when he does he's easily the coolest teacher in the engineering/physics department. There's only three tests a semester, but he clearly states what will be on each test. He obviously knows what he's talking about and will help anyone who needs it. Take him if you get the chance.

After taking microprocessor and circuits with him I realized that he is not willing to help mostly when I had a questions. I will remember what he said to the president on project presentation day "next door" after he said where I am from. Overall, classes are not easy and completely without curves on exams. Be prepared to study a lot withMrGrace

Grace reminded me of a shy version of Michael from The Office. You'll see if you take him. Grace is a really nice guy, and most people who take his classes pull of an A. Only negative I would say is for the lecture, his tests are nothing what we "learn" in class, he really just plays videos for each lesson. Lab can be a bit of work, but good prof.

Tom is a nice guy. That being said, asking him a question is pretty useless. Unfortunately, there is a pretty shabby, shallow pool in the engineering department at BCC. Better luck asking Google.

Now this is one Professor that you would definitively like. He may not give you the answer directly, but you will get it. In the Programming lab, we were allowed to work together. He is a guy that you can get taking with in class which makes everything better.
