Amazing class amazing professor. We watched movies, had one paper that was incredibly easy, one or two group projects, and a fun final project. He provided the textbook (which was a graphic novel) and we watched star wars and star trek and discussed gay themes and gender roles in them. I learned a lot for an easy class.

Professor Henthorne is the model professor for everyone who is or wants to be a professor. I took 4 classes with him during my career at Pace and i didn't regret one of them for a second. I gained a lot of things from his classes, not just book smarts. His classes makes paying $35,000 worthwhile. If there is one professor you take, take him.

If you don't mind reading a few (good) books then take his class. I took it online over a summer term and enjoyed every minute of it. The class was so laid back, the teacher was very helpful and understanding. Don't miss your chance at taking a class with this guy! You will not regret it.

Dr. Henthorne is a genius. He is brilliant and VERY WELL-VERSED in Postcolonial, American and Women's&Gender studies. He is so kind-hearted and understanding that it is very difficult to do him wrong. Writing papers are extremely easy (you write about whatever you'd like each week!) and he recommends writing 2 pages per week. Henthorne: A+

I took an Online class about Sci-Fi and gender...anywayz he is a great professor I am a finance and Eco major and hate writing however I enjoyed that class and enjoyed writing these papers. The key is to participate in class discussions and rewrite your papers and thats it. A is 100%. I recomend him to everybody.

Very helpful and an easy grader. You will not suffer in agony taking his class online or off! If you try and apply yourself - you will get a good grade - even if you're not an English major. Minus: Some books chosen for this lit class were a bit boring, but in the end the grade made my efforts worth it! I confirm: Henthorne IS the man!
