Amazing guy, he cares very deeply about what he teaches but is super approachable and loves to talk. He'll guide you through the essays if you visit his office. Lectures are very long and get a bit boring and he does take attendance. All you need to do is show up and complete the 4 assignments for a B

The most boring and unenthusiastic professor ever. Almost fell asleep nearly every class. Gives out four assignments (three papers and a presentation) and gives them letter grades rather than points. He then averages those grades together for your final grade. Paper topics are mostly about the books, and have very unclear prompts.

Lectures are very long and boring. But, he puts all important material for tests and papers on his powerpoint slides which was helpful for me. He sometimes gets emotional during class which shows how much he cares about the topics.

Every class is the same. A dry hour and a half lecture by powerpoint. There are very few assignments, but that just makes it harder to get anything other than an average grade. He is very partial to certain religions in his lectures.

Brilliant. He changed my opinion on Catholic Priests for the better. Easily one of the most understanding and comprehensive people I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. His lectures are somewhat dry until you gain the appreciation for how truly smart and unique he is. I would honestly love to sit and talk with him about his beliefs. Easy A

He is a genius! He is a great guy, he could use a little more pizazz to make class more interesting, but I have learned a lot form his LONG lectures. Take his class, he is great!

Nice guy, easy class. Two small quizzes and two papers. Easy to get a B on the essays, work harder and get help in office hours for an A. Lectures are boring, if you want to learn DON'T bring your laptop (he does allow them) because you'll end up on Facebook. Also offers an extra credit term paper to boost your grade at least half a letter.

Interesting class!! He's VERY helpful during office hours with major papers and anything unclear. He does PowerPoint notes so they are clear =) and posts them, so you always have access to them! He can be rather dry during lectures but adds colorful anecdotes to keep your attention. Overall, I recommend him for THE101! You won't regret it!!!!!!! =)

Excellent Professor: can be boring at times, but gives an unbiased thorough teaching from Buddhism to Islam. He is mainly concerned with the students reflecting on the purpose and similarities of religion than strict memorization. Highly recommended. Only regret was not giving a standing ovation at the conclusion of the course.

This guy is brilliant. Even if you find his class more dull than watching paint dry, you must still respect him for the genius he is. Overall, his lectures are pretty interesting. Your grade is based on two quizzes and two papers, which make for a n easy semester. All you have to do is come to class, listen, and you shall do well.

Sweetest guy on earth! He is very helpful during office hours and after class. He obviously knows what he is talking about. His lectures can get a little be boring at times, but attendance is required so skipping class isn't an option. This class consists of 2 small quizzes and 2 take home papers. Take THE 101 with him... you won't regret it!

Great Professor. Extremely unbiased when it comes to teaching non-Christian religions. Lectures are engaging, not dead boring (like Vector Calc). Uses Powerpoint and puts the slides up on the internet so they can be reviewed later. Takes his teaching seriously and puts feeling into the lecture. The tests are of average difficulty.

Fr. Hosinski is a very nice guy and is surprisingly unbiased when teaching about non-Christian religions for a priest. His lectures can be monotonous at times but it is redeemed by how fair his papers and tests are.

His class was dead boring because all he does is lecture off a powerpoint. He's very knowledgle of the subject and his quizzes were alright, as long as you review the powerpoint (which he posts online). He also grades fairly easy on the papers. He's extremely helpful outside of class and gives you great tips on writing your papers if you need help.

Boring class - he lectures whats on the powerpoints and posts them online. Wouldn't go to class if he didn't take attendence. SUPER sweet man out of class. Talked to him in office hours for both of my papers, he told me what to do and I got a's on both. Easy class, just painfully boring

Most slanted professor I have ever taken. If you don't swallow exactly what this guy says and regurgitate it back to him, he will give you a bad grade. Does a poor job of presenting opposing views or neglects them entirely. Gets angry if you don't like his opinions. Does not remain neutral, but argues for his position.
