He he is a very tough grader. He gives many homeworks/ test throughout the course. The final was 15 pages a group project and oral interview with him. Course is a lot of work.

Fantastic Teacher! Be prepared to work. He wants you to learn the language and the culture. The harder you work and show effort, the better the grade. Absolutely loved his class, would take him again for sure.

Prof. Mussio's class is a lot of work, but not hard work necessarily. There is a lot of textbook use and homework after every class, but he is super understanding and doesn't have hard deadlines. He knows everyone's capability and grades you based on your language capability. I actually know a decent amount of Italian now.

I took Prof. Mussio two years in a row, and I am very lucky to have him as a professor. Although he gives a lot of homework and exams/quizzes, it's all worth it in the end. I highly recommend you take him if you are learning Italian for the first time.

Very nice guy. Right from day one, he tried to get to know me. Out of the two professors for this Honors Humanities course, he is absolutely the clearer one. I much prefer when Mussio leads the class. Never makes you feel dumb or regret raising your hand. Try to talk to him and be friendly, I think it's worth it.

Professor Mussio is one of the most caring professors at Iona. He is very fair, you get what you give. Gives a lot of work, but will give you a good grade once he knows you are trying. Overall, very good professor.

Prof Mussio was a great professor! He gave a lot of homework, but it wasn't hard to do it was just tedious. He was always available for help if you needed it. His tests are lengthy and he gives an outline with everything that is going to be on the test so as long as you study the outlines you will be fine! Loved taking this class.

Honestly the best teacher Ive ever had at Iona, I only received a C in the class but that was all my fault, he was always there to help and willing to meet with me and made himself available for help, if you have the chance to take him do it you will learn alot

Professor Mussio's class is really hard and involves a TON of work and I mean a TON. I heard almost every single student in my class complain about how much work whether they were doing well in the class or not. Also he literally only speaks in Italian! This is INTRO to italian! I could never understand what he was saying. Stay far away.

I think professor Mussio is a great teacher.He teaches well and expects a lot from his students because he sees potential in them and he wouldnt be teaching all this time if he was any good. As student we try to give the fault to the teacher yet we don't do our part,bc if we think we paying to go to college and is our job to pass the classes.

Mussio was by far the best professor that I've had at IONA College. He goes a little fast but he is so helpful! And yeah, it's a lot of work but I left knowing more Italian than I ever could have imagined! If you actually want to learn the language then definitely take him! :)

love him love him love him!!!! he is the best teacher, he did go a little fast at the end and at times it was hard to keep up but he is more then happy to help and he has a good teaching style. cutest man ever! if ure serious about the subject definitly take him
