i took america since 1945 with this guy last semester as a night class. BAD idea. avoid him if you can...it's really not worth it. if you take it as a night class he drags it out until past the time you're supposed to get out and barely gives you a break in the middle. he drones about the most vague topics. read the book or you're sure to fail.

Do not take this course if you are not a history major. If you take it as a night class you are asking to fall asleep if he doesnt get in your face. He is offensive with his comments at times. He babbles on about the same thing for an hour. The review sheets are just about useless due to the vague statements on there. Absolutely horrible class

Professor Rokjer is a great teacher once he gets past his old world views on life. He needs a regiment that would help him stay focused on the course and all the History professors need new comprehensive textbook materials. He could stand psychoanalytic help too.

I HATE HIM!!! hes the worst teacher ever. all he does is ramble on about stuff that doesnt even pertain to the topic. hes so gross when he talks too he bugs his eyes out and yells for no reason, not a pleasant way to spend an hour and a half at 8am. DO NOT TAKE HIM! the tests are impossible and there are quizzes every other class on a huge amount o

He never made any sense. For an hour and fifteen minutes he would just babble. There was reading for every class and a quiz that followed. You had to memorize the definitions from the readings for the quizes. He gave review sheets for the tests but I promise they did not help. Really nice guy but terrible class.

Professor Rokjer's class can be quite boring, and the time he spends off track really hurts progress in class. He also can be offensive with his comments. 2 papers, 2 tests (gives study guides, yet expects you to know in-depth information). Means well, nice guy, but try to find someone else to fulfill requirement.

Painfully random. Famous for unending rants. Easy grader with fully divulged test questions/topics, and only two papers per semester. Very nice guy. Always willing to provide anything extra. Attendance = 15% of final grade too!
