For good grade, understand the mentioned slides clearly. (Final exam carries a lot of weight-age.) A little tough on accent but teaches very nicely.

Covers every topic but there's no standard book to refer. You will find it difficult to follow his accent too. But he's a very kind fellow and always willing to help. Cares for the students.

He really cares about teaching. His exams are not too hard and not easy either-they require you to understand the stuff he goes over. No textbook-but all you need to do is pay attention in class and make notes. Extremely helpful.

No textbook, only about 600 pages of slides. Slides are okay, but if you don't understand a concept, there's no other source to reference. It's seriously hard to understand his accent. Required homework is a minus. Exams were not too bad.

No presence as a teacher. Lightly talks to himself the whole time. Not interactive at all just reads slides. Preety useless course, but was an easy class. So just take if you need an easy class to balance, a tough schedule for a given semester

If you are interested in retaining a little bit of confidence and have a desire to succeed as a good engineer, NEVER take his class. He is useless. He has never used the whiteboard through out the semester and sets the exam papers as though he has taught every bit of the course. No text book or references. No clue how he got his PhD from Berkley!!

This class is an easy F for you on your transcript. If you want to pass this class, you have to work your ass off because the lectures are useless and the tests, midterms are hard. The final is absolutely impossible. Be prepared to face the worst as this class will show what worse can happen to you

You either get a good grade or bad grade in this class. If you're good it's either cause you took this class before or the material just clicks with you. try your best but the tests are gonna be from the left field. personally i like this professor cause he's friendly even tho I cant understand him sometimes.

Average professor. You must study on your own because he does go trough topics pretty fast. He is the only professor to thought this class, so I had no choice. He is definitely not my first choice and I would not reccomend.

Midterm was was not impossible. Final was impossible for most because you need to know the chips he teaches very well to design circuits around them. Final is all design circuit problem. Final project is hard, just do your best, everyone will be in your boat. If you're good you'll be coding ASM in no time. you're either good or bad at this class.

Lectures are very fast using a powerpoint slides. lectures are also 95% identical to the textbook. Homework was straight forward, and he is very helpful with this. Midterm was very similiar to the hw and lecture. FINAL was impossible to complete. Simply too difficult. Overall , study the book A LOT! As most of the material is covered in there.
