Absolutely loved Professor Stolarek. She's very helpful if you need it and she gives you great feedback on your short stories. However, if you don't enjoy writing creatively, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!

WORST English professor I have ever had. She is not willing to help you. EXTREMELY hard grader. Does not explain things to you and is very rude. First year in my life I will not be receiving an A in an English class because of a personality conflict.

This class is a little harder because it is technical writing. However, she teaches you valuable things that will help you with your future career. I would recommend her for this class. She explains what she wants and the papers aren't long. The longest one, she gives you like 2 and a half months to complete. Quizzes are given every class, so read!

She's a great professor. A pretty hard grader, but she lets you rewrite your papers as many times until you get an A which was great. Random quizzes on readings that don't make sense, but they don't really matter. :) Overall a nice lady that wants students to learn about how to wrie good and be grammatically correct! I actually enjoyed the class.

Not the easiest class, which can be said for most English classes. Lots of papers and a decent amount of quizzes. Professor Stolarek is amazing and always willing to help. She lets you redo your papers until you get an A on them. I didn't need this class I'm glad I took it anyways it will help any major! Take it with Dr. Stolarek.

Why do I have to learn grammar (AGAIN) in a two-hundred level English course. I am pretty sure if you do not know what a verb is you shouldn't be in college. Stupid in class assignments everyday.

Great teacher,have had her twice now.Easy grading, get out early almost every class period.Big on in class assignments.Very helpful. Willing to give extensions, lets you revise papers.Often skips class periods in the sylabus for conferences or peer review sessions. had two weeks w/ no class, two half class periods, and got our early every other day

Do not take this class. She marks you down a whole point for every single little error, if you put and extra space on accident that takes you down a percentage point on that paper. good news is she lets you revise all of your papers. ALOT of busy work in class. inclass assignments every class.

Professor Stolarek is a very good english professor. She teaches a lot like a humanitarian prof in that Plato, Aristotle, and Cicero are the foundation of her class--but it makes it quite the interesting change. She's very smart, and as much as she likes to play Devil's Advocate she will help you with anything she can. Take her!
