really great prof. he's the dean of business so he's super busy but he will go out of his way to hold tutoals before all midterms and finals. Very well spoken, makes finance easy to understand. Will sometimes even take responsibility for poor midterm averages and give you opportunities to improve. great guy

He is the head of the Business department/teacher and is impossible to reach. It took me four emails to get him to write me back (needed to meet with him). He tries to pretend he's listening but then he gets people in class to repeat themselves because he admits he wasn't listening. If I didn't have to deal with him I wouldn't.

I truly enjoy Tim Hynes as a professor and as a person that I can simply talk to about pretty much anything. Very helpful and he makes good jokes every once in a while. Class is interesting, although when he improvs classes, he says 'umm' about a thousand times a minute. I really like Tim and would recommend him to anybody!

At first I hated the course, I found it boring but after you get to know Tim, he is awesome. I enjoyed the last part of the course a lot and learned a lot. The case defence was a lot of fun - be prepared and you will do well. He is a great guy. Multiple choice midterms were not fun.
