Klingler was a great professor. The homework and textbook are online which might be difficult for some. Klingler is a very traditional teacher. He goes at a pretty fast pace; going through 2-3 sections a class. If you don't do the homework or the practice tests, good luck on the actual tests. As long as you do the work you'll be perfectly fine.

If you have a habit for skipping class, you definitely won't pass this one. He prepares you for everything that you will need for the exams and homework during his lectures. Extra credit is integrated in the grading system. Exams can be tough if you don't pay attention or do the homework. Straight forward teacher that doesn't like to waste time.

Extremely nice & passionate about weather. Takes grading a bit too seriously & has difficult tests. He did four exams the whole semester, no final. MC & short answers. He did warn us his tests were hard and they are. Weekly MC quiz. Lengthy labs. Very nice, but gives a bit too much work. Weekly reading assignments.

Does not allow students to work on homework during class, offers no advice or assistance during class - reserved ONLY through email or RIGHT before/after class. Lectures every class for at least an hour and a half, forces students to work on "in-class practice" afterwards which help very little with homework. Ignores good coding - his way or no 'A'

I took Prof. Klingler for MTH 121 and I really enjoyed the class. He gave great feedback on tests and he was always helpful when I had questions. He allowed us to have more of a discussion in the classroom rather than just lecturing. The only grades we got were from the 5 tests but he gave us 1/3 credit back on test corrections, which was nice.

Mr. Klingler is very passionate about meteorology and works hard to make the class understand the course material. Tests are a bit challenging but not too bad. Lots of homework, but it's the same every week so after a while you know what to expect.

Tim is a nice guy and a good teacher. Everything you need to know, will be covered in class, which always got out early. Every week there is a quiz, reading assignment, and lab. The reading assignments are easy, just a refresh on his lecture, the quiz is about the reading assignment. The labs are just some activities related to class material.

Mr. Klingler is amazing. I loved his class despite it being an 8 am. Some of the things I really enjoyed about his class was that he is good at explaining the subject matter, encouraged asking questions, he used an online book/homework. I loved the online homework. It's way easier than paper homework. I would take him again.

He is very passionate about Meteorology. I enjoyed doing homework and labs in this class because I found the subject very interesting. His tests are tough but the class itself is easy to pass if you do the work. Taking him again next semester!

Mr. Klingler is a professor who loves his job. He teaches quickly but is very thorough. He uses a lot of examples and is very supportive if you have any questions. He knows he makes mistakes and doesn't get upset if you let him know. He does a weekly homework assignment which can be difficult. There is required group work at the end of each class.

Professor Klingler was a really great teacher. He always started the class with a weather briefing, and you could really tell he is passionate about what he teaches. I love how organized the class was, and he followed a schedule that was given in the syllabus. Hardest thing about the class were the three tests, which were extremely difficult.

I love this professor. He's very strict with timing and due dates, but he's fair and clear-cut. He's also very good at doing lectures and is willing to help students who are still struggling. Just be ready to do lots of homework.

I took Mr. Klingler a few years ago for CST 280. I've sinced moved on, but I just wanted to leave a review, as this was a high quality class. He covered the basic data structures and recursion very well and leaves great feedback on assignments. I feel that he could have said more about inheritance & polymorphism, but overall he was outstanding.

Talks so fast you can't keep up to follow him and learn. Tests and programs are made up by him and are ridiculously hard and long for beginning class. Don't expect help from him the only one that will save you is the tutor in the TLC expect to spend all semester with him. Unless wiz with comp prog don't expect respect, help or to pass his class.

He does a great job with his teaching. Very clear and seems to know what most students are going to ask before they even have the time to raise there hand and ask it. Defiantly would recommend him to everyone.

Great teacher! He is always willing to help students and explain things more clearly. Even if you don't do well on all the test, there is online homework as wellas projects to help you out. I got a C on most of the test but 100% on the projects and fairly well on homework so i ended up receiving an A-. He gives practise test so there is no supries!
