Tim is the best prof I've had at cap! He is soo nice and really cares about his students. He understands that some students don't like talking in class so as long as you show up you'll get good participation marks. He's also hilarious and makes his lectures fun and exciting. highly recommend!

Tim is VERY knowledgeable about what he's teaching, and his delivery is usually very clear and easy to understand. We only had a few tests and a few assignments. He won't try to swamp you. If you want to take POL 100, try and take it from him!

Super friendly, outgoing, and charismatic. Has a passion for the material and breaks it down for learning in a very simple and presentable manner. Never saw him in a bad or unapproachable mood.

Tim is an awesome prof! His notes are usually limited to overheads and sometimes on the whiteboard but they are helpful when studying. You should go to every class because he give lots of examples. A very funny, laid-back kind of teacher. As long as you review key terms and concepts then the exams are pretty easy, however there is a lot of writing.

Tim creeps me out a bit because he acts and looks exactly like my best friend's dad. Putting that awkward fact aside, Tim is a great guy. Albeit a tough marker, he's very clear and engages you to participate. If you don't like essays, you'll HATE his exams. They are all SA, LA, and essay answers. I learned alot and will never forget him.

Love Tim!!! Quirky, eccentric, worldly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful! He makes politics interesting and a breeze to understand. Class lectures are pretty interesting too. He loves any input and is not a hard marker as long as you actually have your OWN ideas, not just ideas taken from the text.. which is what everyone needs to do anyways.

Initially I had no interest in Canadian politics whatsoever. That took a full 180 after taking Poli 104 with Tim. He's an interesting teacher who is involved and thus passionate about his subject. The enthusiasm was contagious to my class and although he has high expectations of his students, he was as helpful as possible and most people did well.

tim is a nice man but sooo boring. i actually fell asleep in his class at least 2-3 times. exams are not mc, which makes them hard, but he gives alright notes. he is pretty helpfull too when it comes to essays. overall though i didnt care much for him, maybe its cuz i dont like politics much.
