He's sarcastic, sort of snooty, and might pick on you, but by far one of my favorite profs in the university. His classes are interesting, his assignments are easy and he'll pretty much spell everything out for you. If you go to class every day and participate, this class is easy.

I loved this prof, but I love philosophy. He would find very interesting ways to challenge the points you made to really make you think. He's a huge nerd... right up to dungeons and dragons... but a great prof too. watch your grammar!

Pretty good class. Prof didn't spoon feed, which I liked. I found that he was open to different opinions. Yeah, he marks hard but this IS University! Yes, you could miss classes but you would also miss out on some pretty interesting discussion. You paid for the class: Go!

Unless philosophy is your thing, expect an average mark. He thinks we know a lot, but we don't. He thinks it's all common sense, when it's not. Doesn't even realize we're just students. He's always right, you're wrong. Marking is somewhat unfair, because he deduct all marks for minor errors.

You don't need to go to class after the first month. Just buy the reader and you're good to go. He wears the same black long-sleeve shirt every time I see him though... he needs to add to his wardrobe.

do not recommend. Not at all open to listening to students. Even though so many things are a matter of opinion apparently his is the only right one. marking is stupid and deducts marks for things that were not even told were relevant to assignment. avoid at all costs.

I had this teacher for Critical Thinking and I would strongly recomend him for anyone taking that course. He is an excellent teacher. If you do bad on an assignment, as long as u can argue properly he will listen to u and give u the mark that u deserve.
