Great personality and good sense of humor, but HARD, and will be a pain in your ass. Example: saying an exam will be short answer/matching then giving us a two-question exam. One day after the test, he gives us a quiz and says "A lot of you complained the test wasn't what you studied for. Here's your chance to show me what you learned. Good luck."

I won't BS you, Media Law is kind of tough. Tim is the man though, he's very clear in his explanations and he's willing to help you even after you graduate if you run into a problem concerning law and journalism. Just pay attention in class and study and you should do OK.

I had Tim for Media Law. It wasn't the easiest class but he does a good job of explaining things and is articulate, intelligent and entertaining. If you have to take Media Law I strongly recommend taking Mr. Smith, but be prepared to study and pay attention.

I was really scared going into this class because i heard how tough law was supposed to be. But Tim explains things so clearly, and he tells you what you need to know... nothing more, nothing less. If you study, you'll be perfectly fine.

No doubt one of the hardest JMC class you have to take. Alot of memorizing defs and court cases and the final is cumulative. I studied nonstop and ended up with a C+. but Tim knows what he's talking about and willing to answer questions.

Tim is not very friendly. His class is not too bad, but it involves a lot of stuDYING! The subject is pretty boring and you have to memorize about 50 court cases, and he loves to test on these. He also gives pop quizzes in class, so you have to go. Honestly, if it wasnt for these qizzes, i never would've went.

Excelent and very interesting. You know he knows what he is talking about. He makes a subject that could be difficuly like law, and breaks it down so you can understand it very effectivly. Dont get me wrong, it is still a very challegning class, but interesting enough that you want to go to class and learn the material.
