He's a great teacher, but his tests are HARD. He writes complicated and tricky questions, so watch out. Most exam questions are based on readings and they're a lot easier if you go to lecture!

He doesn't use a textbook, which sounds really great. But the readings he uses instead are sometimes REALLY long and boring. But if you can get past that (and keep up with them) it's a really great class. Keep up with everything and you'll do fine.

Amazing professor!I've taken 3 classes with him because I really enjoy his classes. The courswork is interesting so it's really not hard to stay intereseted and involved.This class is only really challening to those students who are lazy, unmotivated, or are used to taking the many watered-down courses now available at the college level.

He is very good at explaining things and uses alot of funny examples. I found it easy to follow along and take notes in his class and most importantly stay awake. Be aware though, he does call on people in class sometimes and gives pop-paragraph writings.
