Comment:

This class was not in my major but a friend of mine back in student government recommended him. The textbook is really 20% of the class... 60% is from his own words and 20% from the pre-exam reviews by graduate students (so go to ALL OF THEM). I absolutely highly recommend this class from a former public servant who has good morals. TAKE IT!!!!!!

Return the book; if you go to class every day you don't need to do the readings. I didn't really learn anything from this class. However, Harris has some really great stories about his days in the senate.

He is very interesting, was in the US Senate and has lots of interesting stories in every lecture. Class is very easy, just go and pay attention, and go to the reviews before each test for all the answers. Don't bother buying the book, I did and never once opened it, and aced everything. Only complaint is he adds his political views sometimes.

Comment:

History of Vietnam- killer class. Did a great job of addressing a sensitive issue and explaining all sides with objectivity- but did not candy coat anything or dodge unpopular points of view. Class was not too hard, but learned alot.

The way he presents his lectures is awesome. Oh and his stories are the bomb it ties everything together because you know he was in the senate for alot of the big decisions that happend for Civil Rights.
