Comment:
Good lecturer, but his exams are unnecessarily difficult. He asks questions about what initially seemed like obscure and unimportant details from the lecture (topics that initially seemed to be "just for fun" or a tangent; definitely not in the textbook). It is difficult to do well. You will need to study. A lot.

Professor Warren is a great chemistry professor. He is really clear in his lectures and he tries his best to follow the textbook, which is great for reviewing concepts later. His tests are really fair and he provides 2 hours for 1 hour exams, since he realizes timed exams arent the best way to measure a student's knowledge. He is awesome!

Professor Warren is not the best lecturer out there, but he really cares for his students and is passionate about chemistry. He sets up weekly review sessions, offices hours, the works. And if you ask him to explain, he will. He's really smart which leads to a disconnect. His tests are graded very generously.

I loved Professor Warren! He always had experiments during class which kept things interesting. He moved very fast, but it was for chem majors. I went to his office hours, and he was very happy to answer questions. His tests are straight forward. If you do the practice problems, you will do well. You can tell he really loves chemistry!

Warren was a good lecturer, and made sure to add something fun to each class, sometimes music or live experiments--he used a lot of liquid nitrogen haha. He was available to answer questions, but I used my chem TA more for that. He held regular Q&As once a week and an extended session just before an exam. Exams aren't difficult if you study.

He also offers many review sessions and is easily accessible to answer questions. His tests aren't that hard if you study. Make sure to do the practice tests that he posts. If you understand those, then you will do fine.

Prof Warren is genuinely excited about chemistry. Sure chem isnt always the most interesting of subjects, but he tries his best to apply it to real world situations and make the class laugh. His lectures are super organized and straightforward, and he holds review session and gives tips for the test. If you study you will do well. TAKE HIM!

He's really enthusiastic and passionate about chemistry! No regrets on taking his class. His tests are harder than the other professors, but he is by far the superior teacher - without a doubt. He teaches well, makes chemistry really interesting. overall, great professor, just a hard class. You really got work hard to get above a 90.

His lectures are fast paced and hard to follow, they aren't really relevant to the tests. You have to basically teach yourself all the material out of the text book. The tests are hard, don't an A

Very enthusiastic teacher that is also knowledgable about the subject. He always tried to liven lectures up even though its a 200 person class early in the morning. Occasionally he'll have fun demonstrations or interesting powerpoints. Hard tests though

Prof. Warren is wonderful! He ran up the stairs in the auditorium and had us all do the wave when we were studying wave mechanics. He puts a ton of effort into his lectures--always doing demonstrations as described to keep you on your toes. Study hard for tests and do practice tests.

The absolute man. Professor Warren tried his best to make what can be uninteresting material interesting. He always has experiments to show the class. He is so much better when you compare him to Stoll. What a great professor. My advice is to take the practice tests seriously because the real test is nearly the same.

Not a particularly interesting class, but Warren's a nice guy, really clear, and easy to do well if you just do the practice tests in advance.
