Really nice guy, but he does seem to get flustered easily. Writes the notes along with his lecture. It's a low level geography so getting an A or B is easier than actually getting up and going to his classes.

Really great professor overall. Makes lectures interesting, and explains complex material in a coherent fashion. Provides plenty of material to study for exams, and even offers review sessions. Classes themselves are very laid back and comfortable. Offers a ton of extra credit if you complete all assignments, so it's pretty hard to fail.

Dr. Warner loves the subject but seems to get flustered when in front of a group of students. His ideas are there but he is sometimes unable to put them into words that make it easier to understand. He cares about the students and wants you to pass but he makes you work hard for the grade you want.

Great teacher with very clear lectures and straightforward exams/quizzes. Gives very detailed study guides and actually asks questions from them. You will work for an A in his class but it's not impossible to achieve this. Has a sense of humor.

Class attendance was optional. The tests were easy if you took notes, and the homework was also. Not many assignments- 3 HW and 3 tests. If you went to office hours with questions, he gave HW answers. Very helpful professor with engaging lectures. Textbook only used for HW.

Great Professor! One of the best I've had at WVU. He is clear on what he expects and this was a interesting class for me. He really enjoys what he is teaching. Just show up to the lectures take notes from what he writes down and you'll pass this class with no problems at all. Tests are directly from lecture notes. 3 HW'S that are fairly simple.

He is a good guy, cares a lot about the subject matter. The only thing I have issues with are the tests. The questions on test are quite difficult (in my opinion), and I went to every class, took notes, and studied (a decent bit), but still had issues getting good grades on tests. Given the subject wasn't really my thing, but I thought it was hard.

I've taken 2 classes from Dr. Warner, and I wish I could take more. His Physical Geography class is a piece of cake if you take notes, and he plays Bob Dylan at the start of every class. Remote Sensing was obviously tougher, but Dr. Warner is the kind of professor who earnestly cares about his students, so don't hesitate to ask for help.

Good teacher, knows his material. Sometimes he's hard to understand and put all his thoughts together. If you take the first three exams and are content with your grade you don't have to take the final. 3 exams, 3 home works and a few practice tests online. BTW! all tests are online which are curved (generously) a 58% was curved to a 76%

Dr. Warner is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is super helpful, and though remote sensing is a rather dry subject, he makes it interesting. The class is not easy, but if you go to class and take notes, it is very manageable. He is also very funny, just get him started on acronyms.

Nice guy, really has a passion for what he teaches. Writes down notes for you to study, so just make sure you go to class and you'll be fine. The exams are simple enough, 40 questions and he reviews the class before the exam. Will stop if you have questions and sincerely wants you to learn.

This class is awesome. Little book use because, in class, he does an excellent job clarifying every topic before going on to the next. His tests are nearly all lecture-based. Also, the "final" is simply Test #4. And he only counts the top 3 tests. Plus, only 3 short homework assignments all semester. Fun class. Accompanying lab is good too.

He was one of the best professors I have had, he tells you everything you need to know for the exams, one exam grade is dropped which is nice. I missed the next letter grade by the slimmest of margins. He was passionate and a funny guy. as someone else stated he is S. African, which sometimes causes mistakes in notes which is a pain if you use pen.

He is honestly one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. He is passionate about teaching and he loves to help his students. It's an easy class; he takes the best notes and all you have to is copy them, so going to class is mandatory. He's South African, too, which is just awesome. I recommend him highly.

Such a nice & encouraging guy. The lectures are a bit tedious at times but other than that the class is easy. Just keep up with the notes (he writes them down on an overhead doohickey) and the exam questions should come easy for you.

He's awesome. Super nice, super cool, and actually makes the subject material interesting. Pay attention in lecture, take notes & write down everything he writes (its a lot), study before the tests, and there is no reason you shouldn't get an A or B. His accent is also awesome, and the man has an obsession with Bob Dylan.

He's a super nice guy with a cool accent, likes to play bob dylan and the like before class, super easy if you put in (minimal-some) effort. He loves questions so don't be afraid to ask them, overall pretty helpful, excited about what he teaches, no reason you shouldn't get an A.

Very boring class. I thought that the material was very difficult to learn. Tim is a very nice guy, just don't disrupt the lecture and he'll treat you with respect. Class had 3 assignments, 3 tests and a comprehensive final. Lowest test score gets dropped and you get a bonus for taking all 3 of the exams.
