I have never had a professor slack off to the extent that Tinamarie has. You call that teaching? Hilarious! She knows nothing about Islam!She just stood up there and dithered for 2hours.superficial coverage of material,said nothing of importance.The bigger problem is that she slacks off shamelessly.even worse,she holds you hostage 4the whole 2 hrs.

Terrible prof. Lectures progress at a snail's pace. Almost all the information is useless. Poorly structured course and exams. Poor choice in reading materials. Useless tutorials. Uncooperative in helping students. Worst prof I've had in 3 years.

Comment:

Took "History of Islam" with hopes of expanding my understanding of the Muslim world and was overwhelmingly disappointed. Any topic was covered briefly and and with a shallow understanding. Lectures were stale, slow-moving and were in no way beneficial. Tutorials were practically non existent. Power points sucked. To reiterate, a massive let down.

She does not even teach. I can't fathom how what she does in front of a student audience qualifies as learning. Her test was totally unfair, she picked a bunch of random terms from the text and no one was able to answer them. Garbage class, no learning to be had.

A nice lady, but an irrisponsible prof. Thus far she's marked assignments late (over 4 weeks), handed out assignments late, cancelled class without more than a few hours notice, and decided against replying emails. She'll apologise, but continue to forget your assignment.
